Call me crazy, but I believe the committee will be crazier.
That brings up an interesting question, out of the senior class who would come back? #1,2,3,16,18,20,21, or 29? Honestly, I don't think any of them would except for #2 for the reason you mentioned. I think if they go deep into the tournament there will be offers for most of the senior class who are not drafted.
A couple observations..... When we played Miami, the disparity between the 2 teams skill level was quite large. We rolled Miami because of it. Denver and St. Cloud played their game well and had more skill than Miami. At times we looked like we were stuck in the mud. It had more to do with a more even match up than that we weren't trying to control the game. Thank God #2 is a senior and will not be back next year. I like our team's leadership a lot. They know what to expect out of each other. They are a band of brothers.
How can your travel partner be your rival? They are more like a little brother that knows they could never beat you, but they still try to find a way to get under your skin. So, like any big brother would do. You just have to slap the dog snot right of them........
World Juniors AND at an East Coast school will make Knight a favorite for the award. Personally, I think McKay deserves to win it. Just don't feel it is going to happen. My 2 cents...
