I don’t see where this is necessarily accurate. All the pressers I have watched, he presents himself and his team as accountable and is very complimentary of other teams and coaches. That’s not to say he hasn’t made mistakes, but what young (and competitive) men don’t?

I definitely agree that it should be a best of 3 for the semis and championship. Don’t know about the regionals though. It would taken too long. How about this... realignment into 8 leagues and only league champions or tournament winners in?

Regardless, the players on scholarship are getting something else for their efforts. If they don’t break into a lineup because of competitive lack of skill or effort, that is not on the coach. We’ve all seen the prima Donna bs. And, as fans, we deserve the continuity of team development and payment for OUR loyalty.

If it does, college hockey will become like every other sport, lacking the sense of fan loyalty and support it enjoys. The players will control what is not theirs, and the continuity will be lost.
