  1. delta will get the ball back on 21 yard line with around 50 seconds left
  2. Do you think enough people turned it off so the feed is better for those of us watching?
  3. I just wrote to Dataflix and requested a refund as well. It is really too bad they can't get things together. This would be a great service if they had the proper equipment.
  4. Glas misses short field goal. Delta scores, misses extra point. 21-9 Sioux with about a minute left in the half.
  5. Sounds like Delta State is no Valparasio! hahahahaha
  6. 21-3 Sioux. Tony Stein says the Delta State players don't know what's going on, and the Sioux are making it look easy. He also mentioned he didn't want to sound insensitive or mean.
  7. Hard to tell what is going on...and I'm "watching" the game on dataflix. I can't believe what a rip off this service is. You'd think they would have it worked out by now. Sioux are playing well except for the two turnovers.
  8. My dataflix feed is working....in short bursts! If this is what it is like the whole game, I will never get a Dataflix broadcast again! What a joke!
  9. If I lived there, I'd be tailgating right now. Then I'd go inside and while watching the game, enjoy a beer for the first time at a Sioux football game! I bought the game on Dataflix, I hope it doesn't dissapoint. I wonder...do they feed the Sioux radio broadcast with the video?
  10. I agree that UND is playing the wait and see game. Why not wait a year or 5 years to see how NDSU and SDSU handle the move up, and learn from their mistakes. We will be DI eventually, we have some of the best facilities of any school in the nation, any division. I am excited for the future.
  11. Is Dataflix worth the bucks? I just purchased a brand new Dell computer, so my system should be top of the line. If I am traveling, can I watch the games on a computer other than mine as long as it meets the requirements for the game? Does one just sign in wherever they are and type in a password to see the games? I was thinking about getting the all inclusive deal for 200 bucks and want to make sure it is worth it. I had heard about games last year being one camera angle and dark, etc. Thanks for the info.
  12. Delta is a great offensive team. Hopefully people show up to cheer against them. It would be great to show this team how loud the Alerus can get just like the N. Alabama game. Lets show these guys what "up north" football is all about.
  13. I don't live in GF anymore. I like keeping up with the old town. The Canad Inn 3D thing was neat. Are there any pictures or other depictions of the area around The Ralph such as the new businesses and the new townhomes? I'd appreciate anything! Thanks
  14. Could someone please include a link on the townhomes for sale. How much are they, etc. They sound interesting to me. THANKS!
  15. I saw this and had quite a chuckle. I wonder if the person meant more than one thing with that headline.
  16. You know, football is less than 2 weeks away and nobody is talking much yet. This was the national runner-up team last year, didn't lose too many players. We should all be excited about the Sioux this year. What a kind schedule too, look at all the home games. I think we are in for another great year of Sioux football. Oh yeah.... N D S WHO??
  17. "Was I a big fan of school? No. But they made a decision easy because they were going to revoke my scholarship, which seems kind of funny when you're their second-leading scorer,'' Fournier said WHY CAN'T THIS GUY KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT??? Does he really think it matters that he was their second leading scorer? You don't pass your COLLEGE classes, you don't play COLLEGE hockey. If he thinks he has a shot in the NHL, it is only as they guy who delivers food (undoubtedly half-eaten) to the players hotel rooms.
  18. I saw the kid at the Wild Onion Bar in St Paul after the Final Five game that UND lost to the Gophers. The whole AA team was there. Fournier was barely able to stand! He was so small in real life, I couldn't believe it, but yet he acted extremely cocky and taunted sioux fans: "you lost today!", as if we didn't know it. If we had a group of about 20 guys with us, it would be pretty easy to say and act like he did. Bottom line: In the one instance I saw Fatty Fournier, he was a drunk, classless, stumbling (short) idiot. Was he like this the rest of the time? With being declared academically ineligible, I would venture to say YES.
  19. From the New Jersey Devils webpage: Q: You and David Hale were once opponents in college. How has your friendship changed since playing together for Team USA (in the 2001 World Junior Championships) and now with the Devils? Do you think you will ever become a defensive tandem? Kristi-Bayonne, NJ A: For the most part, I don't think my friendship with David has changed at all. Now we are just on the same team. I've always been friends with David. We played in the World Championships and we had a great experience there. The next season we came back to college and had a competitive rivalry. North Dakota was probably our biggest rival in the conference. You respect your opponent, and you always play hard. I remember running into him a few times on the ice at North Dakota and not feeling too good, but you get up and you shake it off. You play hard on the ice, and then off the ice, it's different with the guys. I'm not sure if we'll ever play together as a defensive pair. You never know. David and I do play well together. We played together a couple times this year. Our style of play complements each other well. He's more of the physical guy, the banger, and I take a few more chances with the puck. I've enjoyed playing with David in the past, but it's not up to us. The coaches will make that decision.
  20. That duck thing is horrible! Are you a gopher fan???
  21. Zajac NHL.com article Don't know if anyone posted this yet.
  22. I say as many of you as possible buy tickets to the Sioux Mankato series in October (15-16) and we show these Mankato fans how real fans are supposed to act at a hockey game. We could all answer their complex questions like "when is halftime" or "how many quarters are there in the game?, I am ready to go to the bar."
  23. I've found this true too, that is why I enjoy road games so much. It seems like the limited amount of Sioux fans all join together to make as much noise as possible.
