The other problem is Paukovich continues to play dirty himself. Look at the Oshie hit and take down tonight. I felt like Prpich was ready to fight him there.

Just got back from the game. We are clearly the better team, but couldn't get any bounces, couldn't settle the puck down and get a decent shot. They are a extremely defensive team. Very boring to watch, dump the puck when they get in trouble, wait for a mistake and score. Both of their goals were garbage, but they won. That is their style and it seems to work. Great crowd in my opinion. Not many empty seats. All in all a pretty boring game though due to SCSUCKS defensive style. Their 2nd goal bounced off Chorney and went in, a bounce they got and we didn't. Very very frustrating to lose at home to a team like St. Cloud, our 2nd loss to them this season. We can't seem to win at home, I really don't get it. Lets win tomorrow and stay in the top 5...or do we really want to play at home in the playoffs?

I just watched selected parts of the saturday game. Wow, is Mankato ever a cheap team. I like how their #2 just skated away from Radke after getting it in the mouth a few times, what a tough guy, start a fight then run away. It seems obvious that the dirty play comes from Jutting. I have never liked Jutting, he is often smirking and smiling behind the bench and gets into it with fans, not something a head coach should be doing.

I agree the student section was good tonight. I like the Purple Pansy cheer. Can do a lot without cuss words. Great game tonight!

You know what pal? We thought about coming to get that sign from you but the Sioux players did it first. I can only imagine what they said to you two fellas and the fear you felt. I will say the same thing now that I said to my buddies and some other people around me at the game, "what a couple of classless jerks".

Friday's game was the first I have ever been to at Mariucci. I have been to numerous road games in Mankato, St. Cloud and at the Xcel. The fans we encountered at Mariucci were by far the rudest and had little knowledge of the game. I won't go into details, but the sign at Friday's game discussed in another thread was just one thing that rubbed us the wrong way. Like I said, no details, but wow, were there a bunch of idiots at that game.

If that is the case, I won't be there. Which location did this occur?

How easy would it be to pick up a few tickets before the games? Scalpers pretty unreasonable? Are there standing room tix available?

What is with hockey day in canada? I saw it on tv today. You don't find us americans having a football day...it is cool though. I saw Sioux win 6-1 tonight. I just jinxed em too...actually, with Lammy in, I say 4-1.

Will the WJC players be in action this weekend with the Sioux? They are already "close" to Alaska, will they just fly up and join the team? I think it would be wise to rest them this weekend. Any word?
