  1. I am now dumber after reading that article. That article destroyed as many brain cells as a week's worth of binge drinking on the SCSU campus.
  2. Good to have an ISU fan on board. I read on your message board that they expect only 5000 at the game. Is this a typical attendance figure? I think there will be a decent number of Sioux fans in your building, UND is known nationally for having some of the best fans around, we travel quite well to football and hockey games.
  3. If on Altitude, local sports bars should have the game on...if not, I can watch on my computer, so I'm happy.
  4. I like the Sioux in this game. I think they will finally have some motivation, the last 3 weeks were almost like scrimmages or preseason games. I feel they will open up the playbook a bit more and play better football. I think we go in and win by 10-14 points. I read on the Bengal message board that they expect only 5000 fans at this one, so the environment won't be very intimidating. The short prep time for us and long prep time for them is the wildcard, is the elevation an issue?
  5. Back from the game, Sioux dominated UWLAX. The stat advantage is going to be absolutely lopsided, could have been worse than 45-7 final. I feel like the Sioux haven't opened up the playbook yet against these first 3 teams, I hope to see more as the season goes on.
  6. Lots of tickets, no home game for a month, come to the Potato Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Well, regardless of who they put in the paper, the bison will likely dismantle a weak Wyoming team today.
  8. PLAY US!
  9. My point was that this is a transition year, and if things go as they should, teams like UW LAX will not appear on our schedule after this year and maybe next year. It was typed with supreme confidence that we will get through this and next year's transition schedules and can look forward to FCS teams visiting the Al very soon. I don't think it is out of line to state that if these non FCS teams keep visiting the Al year after year, that I would lose interest and not attend games...after all, we moved up to avoid playing teams like St. Cloud, Kingsville, and UWLAX. Main point: Show up this year and next year no matter who we are playing. It will only help build the program.
  10. That's hilarious. I'm sure there are quite a few angry emails headed that way from NDSU fans. To keep with the theme of this post: "HA HA!"
  11. Absolutely! If our schedule is like this in the next 2 years, then it is time to stop showing up to games. Right now, the team and the university needs your butts (and your cash) in the seats, regardless of who we are playing.
  12. Without a retractable roof stadium, attendance will suffer greatly in cold weather.
  13. The Ralph ticket office sells football tickets as well, there is always parking in the little lot by the front of the building. They are always very helpful in getting me the exact section and seats I want, not just the "best available" seats.
  14. I argue that it is an advantage FOR UND and me! Would I love the Ralph hosting, obviously, but the X is the next best thing for me as far as driving distance. Additionally, many UND alums live in the cities metro area, so it is an easy trip across the suburbs for them.
  15. If they hang with us early, they will have hope. DON'T GIVE THEM HOPE!
  16. I will be there with 4-6 others. Bring your buddies and family out, it doesn't matter that it is UW LAX. Support the transition, come out to the Potato Bowl!
  17. Night games are the way to go.
  18. That is simply awesome!
  19. AZ SIOUX: Welcome back!
  20. I predict a 51-13 game, I'm hoping that the crowd is close in size and energy to last week's!
  21. I agree with everything you said. Night games are much much much better than 1 pm games. You saw the crowd we had on Thursday. Increased numbers, more rowdy, many more students. It is the way to go and I hope we do it!
  22. I was pretty close!
  23. I just wanted to say how proud I was of the GF community for coming out in great numbers for the game. I have been down on the community in the past for not coming to football games, this time they didn't let me down! I had a great time, I can't wait for the next one!
  24. Crap, I better get on the plane now or I'll miss kickoff!
