I was told that Duluth does not televise Friday games. DAZ just wants to send a few people to do the commentary, but rely on Duluth's video feed. So basically you need people with camera experience to volunteer.

I think the students were quiet because of all the crap we have gone through, not because we can't swear. I think around 80% of the cheers done do not involve swearing. It seems like the students don't want to bother, and the general public didn't try start anything. I don't think all of the cops are bad. After our first goal on Saturday, one came up and told me I could yell. I don't know if I was randomly told, or he remembers me yelling from the other games. Either way, I think people need to realize that the students aren't quiet because all cheers involve swearing.

Bochenski has gone missing with the atmosphere. Maybe if I would have yelled to put in Brandt, it would have been quiet enough that CB would have believed it was one of his own thoughts.

They showed the interview with Zach on WDAZ tonight. He said he didn't agree with taking the students out of the game, and he said it affects the team. He also didn't agree with not allowing the students to stand. I wish they would play it on the news every night for the rest of the season.

I haven't found any Gopher fans happy with the atmosphere yet.

J Par has consistently let in a lot of goals when he doesn't face many shots.

I hate when I am right. I don't think CB has earned his money this year. He has had all year, and he can't get the team to perform on the power play, he can't utilize his goalies correctly, and he can't motivate his team to play. Last night on the radio he said they were going for a top 3 finish. I would love to see an ad in the Herald tomorrow for the head coach job. Let's see how he takes criticism like he gave Brandt. That Mike ref they flew in sucked. He fell for every dive. He lost control of the game within five minutes of the game, so I'm surprised there weren't more fights. The atmosphere sucked again. I don't see it coming back for Tech, but maybe the playoffs. For those thinking the students will not take criticism for being quiet, there were sheets with two anti-Chucky cheers handed out. The REA officials and police came down with a raid trying to figure out who handed them out. I never heard the cheers used, but maybe they were in section 107. Overall, a crappy weekend of hockey. How many wake-up calls does the team and CB need?

It didn't seem like Bina played as much as he usually does last night. I would expect the opposite after his great weekend in Madison. I also don't understand the purpose of sitting the fourth line most of the game. I'm sure Massen and Hale were jealous they didn't get to ride the bench all night.

J Par's mask is ugly because the green is too light. I hope to see Brandt's tonight so I can judge his.

It wasn't really planned, especially with only 20 people on here knowing about it. They could have put it on the students' seats rather than the stupid copy of the letter that we already received.

What is with all this undressing talk? Plus there were the pictures of Bochenski half-naked. It has not been a pleasant night for the non-queer eye.

J Par made one big save, otherwise he didn't offer much tonight. He has a new painted helmet, but the green is too light. There was no atmosphere tonight. The students didn't know what to do during introductions, so I hope something can be planned for tomorrow. The general public contributed as much as normal to the introductions (i.e., 20 people cheering).

Like I said in the Wisconsin thread, it looks like a lot of our players are afraid to take a hit. We are a pretty quick team, so we should be able to skate through some of the checks. I would also think that clutch and grab stuff will be called more frequently in the center of the ice compared to along the boards.

I just received my letter in the mail today. There wasn't even a photocopied signature of RT. Where is the respect?

I think if enough of us started chanting seive with the arm movement, people would catch on quickly. For whatever reason, nobody has liked my Fifth Line Player comment, so I will go with the Sioux cheer.

So are any of these new cheers to be used tonight, or is everyone just waiting for Tech or next year?

As said earlier, there were quite a few students at the game. Those that came were on the lower level, where the atmosphere is. It is hard for the upper four student sections to get into the game with no other support.

The Badgers were physical, and cheap, but they also won all the races to the puck. We looked very slow out there.

One thing to consider is that when the students are not there, the tickets are sold to people that do not have season tickets. That means there is no way to prove that the atmosphere was still good with the regular season ticket holders. It could mean that the fans taking the place of the students were the ones carrying the crowd. The regular season ticket holders have never done anything to show that they can be real loud on their own. If they had, it would also mean that they refuse to work with the students, which isn't good either.
