  1. Trump is 2-32 in actual litigation thus far. And one of his victories has been overturned. And he's getting dropped by attorneys left and right. But the big one is coming! It's just around the corner! Biggest fraud ever! Just you wait! Hugo Chavez!!!!!!! You people are nuts.
  2. If they're changing their votes because of threats they have no business being in their elected position. That's nothing but an excuse. Trump is now manipulating the on-the-ground state/county electoral processes and his minions are fine with it. Jesus.
  3. All officials (Rep and Dem) voted to certify. Trump then personally intervened by calling Rep officials and they rescinded. If you think this is acceptable practice, I don't know what to tell you. Like I said earlier, what would the reaction in Grand Forks be if Obama did this to your election process?
  4. Did they all get them? Or only certain counties? From what I'm reading the only issue with upgrades occurred in Antrim Co. MI. One of their machines wasn't upgraded and that caused the issue, but it was later corrected. People are also complaining about Wayne County who used them, but election officials said their only discrepancy was due to human error, not software.
  5. And I can hire a forensic investigator to look at the dog turd in my front yard because I'm convinced it's Jimmy Hoffa's dump. So what?
  6. Wait a second, since when is lawyering up deemed an innately shady practice? It’s what any good company does before getting grilled by the government. You should always legally dot your I’s and cross your Ts. Dominion Systems was used by about 50% of states, including many battlegrounds won by Trump. Why isn’t Team Trump questioning Dominion validity in these places? Seriously? I mean Florida certified Dominion as secure this election. I’m seeing their pattern. The talking points are really pushing the narrative that Dominion Systems can be manipulated, hence they’re untrustworthy. Well sure ok, fine. Maybe, maybe not. But that’s gonna get them nowhere in court. They will be required to prove, to a T, that they were manipulated. But hey, if they can prove a gigantic coordinated effort occurred, via the Clintons, Hugo Chavez, George Soros, and Cuba, well, more power to them. You people are nuts
  7. Gimme a break. MSM and Trump are the best thing that have ever happened to each other. A lot of outlets love being ‘outraged’ by his craziness. Every story is a headline and a sensation. And Trump loves being the center of attention. He whips the media into a frenzy for his own benefit. He then points to them and claims they’re biased and nuts. Cheeto is a master salesman and self-promoter. As the saying goes "Any press is good press".
  8. One thing that DOES help is Biden is well versed in the mechanisms of what he's gonna encounter. No learning curve.
  9. I have no clue. This is like the first time in modern history we're experiencing this. To comply someone from the GSA first needs to sign over paperwork officially authorizing the transition. It's basically the first formal declaration by the government acknowledging the winner of the election. So you can see why Trump isn't doing it. But the process takes time. And why the sooner the better.
  10. Every incoming President is tested by our adversaries. That's why immediate access to information between administrations is imperative. What Biden does with that intel in terms of foreign policy is a different topic.
  11. I agree the Dems play politics as bad as anyone but, again, you don't screw with the transition. There's something called the the Presidential Transition Act. It requires the outgoing administration to provide the president-elect with a classified summary of threats to national security, major military or covert operations, and more as soon as possible. Agencies also share info on background investigations for candidates for top national security positions. Another requirement is for the outgoing administration to host interagency emergency preparedness and response exercises. That's just national security issues. There's a whole host of other things for other departments. Trump is ****ing this all up.
  12. Oh I agree. But I was alluding to the transition more than anything. That's something you don't **** around with. The well being of our basic governmental functions are predicated on smooth information exchange. The longer Trump carries on with this charade, the more it's a national security risk. I don't think he cares. He just wants the Biden administration cut off at the knees.
  13. If a ‘smoking gun’ exists, it would rival Watergate. Trump would be well advised to: -Drop his counsel. They’re making a mockery of everything. Remove politics from the courthouse, go with the evidence. Assemble a team of the nation's finest and most respectable lawyers. Biden would be toast. -Get validation from world’s most honored analysts, specialists, mathematicians, etc. Mountains of it. This would be very easy if clear-cut evidence of fraud existed. Biden would be toast. Of course the elephant in the room is that Trump has been dropped by almost every respectable lawyer he’s hired. Is it a coincidence these new allegations are coming from attorneys neck-deep in pro-Trump politics and who, apart from Ellis, espouse QAnon beliefs? I mean even staunch conservative John Dowd (easily the most revered attorney who Trump has ever had) wants nothing to do with nutcases like Giuliani, Powell and DiGenova. Respectable counsel doesn't act like Trump's lawyers are behaving. Enough with the grandiose press conferences and lawsuits followed by telling the judge "Uhh, I’m not really alleging fraud” - like Rudy just did in PA. How much longer until people realize Trump's plan is to sow doubt about election results and make life a living hell for the incoming administration? Do people not realize they're getting worked up over the same scenario over, over, and over again with the same result? "But we've got him THIS time!" TDon is gonna carry this on as long as he can. Lather, rinse, repeat.
  14. What IS concerning from a democracy standpoint is Trump is now personally inserting himself into on-the-ground state/county certification processes. Trump is directly calling officials who oversee results, inviting them to the WH, etc. Could you imagine the outrage in Grand Forks if Obama personally called an election official who, afterwards, rescinded his/her vote to certify results? I mean Jesus H. Christ. This is way, way beyond acceptable practice.
  15. The point is to whip up chaos, drag this on forever, and sow enough doubt in the populace whereby Trump can claim victory in defeat. It's Trump's time-tested playbook going back to his real estate days. This will serve him well moving forward. The GOP knows it's not overturning the election. That Rudy is now heading the legal team is a good indication that everything is about PR now. https://www.ft.com/content/74d8a848-4dad-4017-9226-5deb0a005045
  16. Human error happens every election. It’s unavoidable and we do our best to correct it. However, human error rarely, if ever, alters a sizable number of votes. That’s why Trump is claiming fraud. But it's also why his lawyers are dropping him, and others (like Rudy today) are forced to change their accusations when they have to actually prove it in court. In terms of voting machines – these things aren’t machines that some random poll worker can manipulate to alter the election. Well, I suppose someone could, but election and monitoring officials (both Dem and Rep) would have to be in on the scam. There exists layers of collective oversight. The current issue is with some counties in MI and GA who used Dominion software. That said, in every instance where a discrepancy occurred, county election officials provided a detailed explanation of what happened and how it was remedied. In Michigan, inaccuracies were because of human errors, not software problems. In GA, one problem was due to Dominion delaying officials’ reporting of votes (but did not affect vote count). 2 other counties had problems with software slowing poll workers’ ability to check-in voters, but that wasn't attributed to Dominion.
  17. They don't want to embarrass or perjure themselves in court because the allegations are so ridiculous. Meanwhile, Rudy was his crazy-ass self today. Despite his public rants, he admitted Trump's big PA lawsuit does not involve fraud. The judge then cancelled tomorrow's evidentiary hearing. Clown.
  18. Regardless of eventual outcome, it’s actually a testament to our ingrained democratic institutions (on the whole) that: a – the President must go through the court system to overturn the vote count; b- our institutions are fair and strong enough to accept or rebuff a President’s lawsuit as they deem appropriate. He’s throwing everything he can at them, big and small, with vitriolic fervor. This post election legal action is like nothing the US has ever encountered before. Despite the bullcrap rhetoric from both parties, our democracy (on the whole) is working. Few people in this world have the luxury to experience what we are witnessing right now.
  19. Perhaps if you pay attention to outlets other than Breitbart, you'd have a better grasp of the situation. Breitbart is only reporting half the story. Why? I'll let you figure that out. https://www.thegeorgiasun.com/2020/11/18/recount-update-accusations-fly-as-hand-recount-nears-end/
  20. It means he's filing a new statement with the court modifying or clarifying his position (with supporting evidence, etc). Meanwhile Trump is taking a beating elsewhere in PA. 2 of his lawsuits thrown out already. His own team withdraw another one. The circus continues........ Edit: looks like JohnboyND7 beat me to it!
  21. Speaking of dumb@sses, the judge threw a beatdown on Rudy yesterday. He told him, verbatim "You're alleging that the two individual plaintiffs were denied the right to vote. But at bottom, you're asking this court to invalidate more than 6.8 million votes, thereby disenfranchising every single voter in the Commonwealth. Could you tell me how this result could possibly be justified?" Holy crap.
  22. Ok, but this lawyer is not gonna be able to use those conspiracy theories about the Sos in a court of law. Or jump up and down and yell “OMG he’s a RINO!!” Get real. If asked, this lawyer (like every other one thus far) will claim no fraud occurred. Again, he’s arguing technicalities and his evidence is related to this. Like I said a million times, you dumb@sses need to distinguish between Trump’s PR onslaught and what’s actually occurring in court. You folks are getting played hook, line and sinker.
  23. So what does this have to do with fraud? Are Republicans now in on the Democrats' scam? This resembles a lot of other Trump lawsuits. They’re screaming “Missive Fraud” at the top of their lungs yet arguing technicalities in court. Here they’re claiming the Republican SoS wrongly agreed to implement new safeguards to the signature validation process. This is getting ridiculous. Republicans are now eating their own.
