Here's the story concerning the streaming audio problems the last two weeks. Two weeks ago, the server was hacked and went down, hence no hockey audio. The system is setup to shut down if there is a spike or similar, which apparently happened last weekend before the football game. It should reboot automatically, but apparently the setup didn't work. Possibly it will be working correctly again for future broadcasts.

This is what happens when you start a season than take a weekend off, while everyone else is already into the WCHA schedule.

Sounds like the story that Gaby was close to signing is wrong. Just reported that negotiations have broken down and Gaby has said he is leaving (to where, back to Russia). Seems that the Wild managment and the agent have put out contradictory stories to win the fan support. No telling what the truth is.

Goborik and/or agents are way overboard at 6.5M a year. Wild's offer seems good to me. Otherwise, they can finish last and hope for the #1 pick Ovechkin. Seems that this morning, reports are that Goborik's demands have been reduced to 4.3M/yr/ equal to what he's averaged the last two years. Are there copyright issues here? As PCM posted in the other thread, one can do much better scanning a photo themselves, and saving it in a format that can be printed poster-sized, rather than trying to enlarge these very compressed web formats (jpg and gif). For instance, I can scan the Greene photo at maximum resolution and save as a bitmap, which makes a file larger than 100mb. Someone needing that kind of resolution for a poster best do it on their own system, if they have the capability.
