The one positive. Prior NCC games this year when the Sioux offense stalled and the defense gave up yards the Sioux were down 3 or 4 TD's by half time. Sioux have them where they want them

#15=Schwabe. Speared a Sioux player (Smaby?) a couple times after the final buzzer. Lucky a brawl didn't break out. Wiener Schwabe is a marked boy.

Dogs were awful; think we saw the team that lost to Bemidji and MTU? last week. Sioux were not much better (guess 1 goal better). Gave up way too many odd man rushes in the third, although the dogs didn't turn any into a good chance. Either team could have scored 10 tonight. Dogs got away with so many high hooks on Parise that Sandy lost it when one was called. Guess he thought it was legal, although, for the most part tonight, it was. Blais not happy with Green's hook late in the game. It was a stupid penalty because the Sioux had the Dogs outnumbered in the Sioux end. Little hope for a good scoring chance. Not a very good game to watch, hope tomorrow night both teams play a bit better.

Unfortunate that Stafford fell over the Duluth Dman and took the net off. Bochenski had an easy goal if that hadn't happened.

Better defensive period; no giveaways. Sioux had better chances, but no goal. Passing is very rusty yet. Not a lot of flow to this one. Duluth looked better in the HOF game. They appear to have digressed. Sioux have a ways to go to be back to the play we saw against Denver.

An ugly defensive period at both ends. Duluth looked like the rusty team early, but after two defensive giveaways (by the Sioux) that lead to 2 on 0 and 2 on 1 goals, they got interested. Sioux looked like the rusty team near the end of the period. Good to get to start the second tied.

That's right. Apparently the pregame program (Sioux Illustrated show) was taped (not sure how long ago) as Stafford has been added to the WJC team. Smaby is apparently still an alternate. The show is just finishing up now on FSSN.

Had directtv, and, after I'd paid for dataflix, local cable company announced the addition of several new channels, including FSSN, so, I switched to cable. Still get to suffer through dataflix for the road games, which will be common from January on, unfortunately.

On the dataflix pregame, Blais said that Stafford and Smaby are still alternates only. They will go only if someone on the roster can not. So, the Sioux are still just 2 players short for the SCSU series (with the possibility of being 3 or 4 short).

I agree with you Corella, back and forth smack, OK, and even though banning is seldom done here, anyone making a post like that I would hope would be banned, and the post removed.

WPOs, Having never thrown anything on the ice, not even a hat (don't see any reason to throw away a perfectly good hat), I'll say that I don't agree with a fan throwing things on the ice, whether it's a Sioux fan or a Gopher fan in Sioux disguise. I don't understand, however, why you felt the need to post it here. Does this fan's actions support your notion of the average Sioux fan? What did you expect to get by posting it here? Judging from other's posts, it appears that Goldy likes to get in opponent's fans' faces. He may need to be reigned in a bit. Sounds like the fan got what he deserved, that is being removed from the arena. There is a delete button on each of your posts, if you'd like out of here. Unfortunately, it's not on the post that starts a thread, so you have to think a bit before starting one.
