Having looked it up, only ND, SCSU, Wisco, and Mankato play conference games that weekend. Everyone else is in NC games. How hard would it have been to allow all the WCHA to have that weekend free of conference games? Who is responsible for this garbage? Also, anyone know how many WCHA players are on WJ rosters?

Wasn't Brady on the selection camp roster? The article out of Toronto makes it sound as if he would have been: It was an unexpected turn of events because the 19-year-old had attended Canada's summer evaluation camp and would have been on the list of invitees released yesterday. Wouldn't it be nice to have had the first weekend of January off or with a NC game, rather than now. After this weekend, all WCHA teams will have played 10 or 12 conference games, while the Sioux remain with only 6. Wonder if some WCHA teams don't play conference games on that January weekend?

Good for Brady; another article made it sound like he wasn't being invited back to the Canadian camp. Would guess this will make SCSU happier with Parise and Murray gone for the January series.

UND will always play the second fiddle to NDSU. NDSU is moving to the I-AA ranks next season and is leaving UND behind as they aren't up for the challenge. Alarius? looks badly? They are playing better than they were, no doubt. More forwards are actually coming back into the defensive end. Both Mich and MN, however, appear to fold (defensively) when pressured. Don't think eithers defensive corps are as good as the Sioux's, in their own end. Of course, Woog's view of Mich. defense is the same as his view of the Sioux's; they lack an offensive dman Here's my view of the Gophs (and Mich); they are lacking in defensive dmen.

Of course you have to make the playoffs, be it D2 or D1-AA. Have fun watching from the same place you've watched for years. Did it feel good to get in one last rant because the Sioux get a home game?
