Sounds like the typical tough start against Augie. First time the Sioux haven't scored a TD on the first possession, I think, and now they've gone two with no points.
U guys are loads of help Guess I could use a portable cd player head phones. but this system is a HUGE optiplex in a tight cabinet with no front jacks. I'd have to haul the whole thing out to see what's on the back.
Center Ice now available on Dishnetwork. Early bird special saves $20 if you order before Oct. 9 ($149). Guess maybe we'll get the free preview beginning September 29 (Saturday), channels 543-558.
Free Preview of Center Ice goes from Sep 29 to Oct 9. Since dish hasn't yet worked out a deal with the NHL, not sure if we'll get the preview on Dish. Would guess those with directtv will get it.
Head for the forum at the bottom of this message. Guys there recently helped another Sioux fan in Dallas install and get pointed at 93W. Is your system installed and you're currently pointed at last year's satellite (89W)?
One of the cheap meters (sf95 for instance) can really help get you pointed. Blind scanning, if you have a box that does that, will then let you know what you're pointed at. http://www.lyngsat.com is a good reference for finding out what you're pointed at after a blind scan.
You haven't missed any Sioux football games on FSSN, they have yet to show one (only two scheduled, UNO and SCSU). THe Montana Grizzlies were on 93W last Saturday.
Ever since this thread started I've been waiting for that smilie, hoping that you'd satisfy fs1, 7titles, etc, and give them the place (respect) they demand.
BTW, I'm one of those ss.com little purple guys
We're stuck waiting for 5:45PM on October 7 to see if we are pointed well enough to scan this in It's a Sunday, don't get all involved in the Cowboys and forget the Sioux hockey opener.
They ran it for free for hockey last spring but just for the first 100 users; it worked fine. Suspect it will work again when enough of us cancel, demand a refund, and leave 100 or fewer users. I'm volunteering to be gone, so that's one closer to 100 or less.
