  2. Just remember the monthly subscription is billed automatically until canceled, so remember to cancel after the weekend.
  3. course if you own a fortec dish, galvanized by rubbing with tomatoes, flexing may occur when the sun hits it
  4. Uses the same site/service as the Sioux webcast subscriptions. Guess hockey worked a couple weeks ago although Sioux football has been hit and miss. So maybe we (sioux fans) can lock up the whole tech webcast also. Oh, and thanks for the coaches' show report, PCM.
  5. I'm hoping to see Bruneteau vs. Gregoire mid-November in Lincoln.
  6. You're right; should have said locked for most of us. No doubt a dozen or so with the most direct pipeline to the server used the bandwidth the rest of us were competing for. Now we know you were one of the problems
  7. The Huskies webcast shuts down when too many people log on, so no doubt Sioux fans will lock it up in no time. NU sold 250 $5 subscriptions on Saturday night, which was enough to lock up the webcast after a period. I'm prepared to listen to TH only, unless they beam this thing up to a satellite on KU band. The only games in their TV schedule, however, are opponent telecasts (FSN's, FSSN, local TV, etc).
  8. Cherry led off the coach's show last night with the goal. They called it "goal of the century". Unreal.
  9. Webcast has turned to garbage for me.
  10. Lots of PK time after the goal. 13-7 shots NU after one.
  11. Thanks, guess I've seen a fair number of those while scanning.
  12. TV guys said a shoulder injury.
  13. What's on there, Iceberg? I have no signal at all on that tp.
  14. 5:50PM Central time according to the web site after registering.
  15. Northeastern Webcast only, for $4.95, I believe.
  16. Friday night's game at BC has been moved back to 7PM Central for CSTV.
  17. There are way to many Sioux fans for video streams, they can destroy most any stream. Just not enough bandwidth to go around. So, I'll watch TV on Friday night and leave the CSTV stream alone, if Sioux fans agree to give me the $5 NU stream on Saturday This could be NU's biggest money-maker of the year at $5/apiece.
  18. Didn't Cornell do it way back in the Ken Dryden days?
  19. RU getting paid to preach? Whoops, didn't see your post admin. I'll stay out of the thread from now on.
  20. Yep, missed it entirely, and there was no replay watching it live, but it's obvious when seeing it replayed. Was it just too noisy to hear a whistle. it was totally odd that they lined up at center ice for the post goal faceoff, then, changed faceoff locations, stuck Radke in the Pbox, and cancelled the goal. Must have been one unheard whistle and the referee took that long to get his call straightend out with the 2 linesmen, other referee.
  21. I'm not familiar with the Fortec LNB, but the winegard dish should be good, as well as the Fortec receiver. Maybe the new lnb will make the difference.
  22. The Xtreme II lnb was a major improvement over the uln1 for me. You can't go wrong with either the xtreme II or the invacom snh-031 from Pete. http://shop.psbsatellite.com/main.sc What dish and lnb are you using? I think the fortec receivers are good so I'd expect the problem to be lnb or dish. My fortec dish warps in the sun/heat and quality can change drastically from one hour to the next, although it's much better in the cooler weather we have now. My next purchase will be the 90cm hotdish that Pete is using.
  23. I was at 71% to 73% for the entire game. I have a very lousy fortec 80cm that tends to stay shaped correctly in the cooler fall weather.
  24. There are many of these around the internet and email. You need to sign up for some things to get the free gifts. No doubt there will be monthly subscriptions, etc, etc.
