  1. I know that if a P5 school wanted Radunz, offered him and had built a relationship he would NOT be at NDSU.
  2. Unless I was a member of Seth Anderson family or his HS coach or on Kansas staff there is no way I would know for a fact. I DO know Kansas has 10 offers out for SDE ends. Do you think they are all committable? Stop while you are ahead. Here is the list of Kansas offers. Do you think they have 1000 schollies? You think the top of their board for SDE was Anderson? https://247sports.com/college/kansas/Season/2020-Football/Offers/
  3. Sam Houston State was loaded with guys who started careers at FBS schools and decided for one reason or another to drop down to FCS. Does not guarantee they were highly recruited, but much more likely. FCS guys are NOT highly recruited unless you consider multiple FCS offers or a couple of G5 offers highly recruited. When a guy has a p5 offer and ends up at FCS(yes even mighty NDSU), the P5 “offer” was not committable.
  4. FCS schools don’t get any “highly recruited”athletes, unless one considers FBS drop-downs. Just the nature of the beast.
  5. IMO the big edge for Nicholls was LOS and QB. Fourcade was a playmaker.
  6. Every DL and OL need to be 10-30 lbs heavier next season. IMO also plays into the abundance of injuries. By end of game at Nicholls we were the walking wounded at many positions.
  7. If Jaelen Johnson gets to 260, he will be better than Mason Bennett. I would guess Johnson has no idea how to get there.
  8. I’m beating a dead horse too, but FCS football is about development. I’m not seeing guys getting massively bigger, faster stronger.
  9. Now that was funny!
  10. I would guess it was a “misunderstanding”. Could be wrong, Kansas moved away from an OL from twin cities too. Lots of programs put out offers that are never commitable.
  11. Nobody turned down Les Miles for NDSU.
  12. He didn’t play that much all season. Was suspended for a couple games before he was dismissed. Need more beef up front for run d. Need a couple 300lbers at NG and 4 260lbers at DT.
  13. Any idea what happened to Izzy? Having no running game makes getting separation tougher too. Nicholls was daring us to run yesterday as the game wore on. Only so much you can do running slants, picks and 6 yard outs.
  14. Need upgrade at QB, 20-25 lbs more per OL, a WR to stretch field( what happened to adeoti?) and a 220 lb RB that can make people miss and run over dbs, to compliment McKinney and skokna.
  15. FCS programs are largely “development” programs . Yes the occasional guy is recruited who the B1G overlooked but that is rare. NDSU does not recruit many highly rated recruits. It’s impossible at FCS level. Our development is deficient. For that reason I voted D.(would have gone C- if that was available).
  16. Cam Hunt was dismissed weeks ago.
  17. Evaluation is spot on. IMO biggest difference yesterday was QB play. We win the game with Fourcade at QB. OL and DL size and strength are glaring weaknesses. At some point S&C has to play into that problem. If you don’t have beef up front to stop the run or run the ball you better be able to take some shots deep and we could not and would not.
  18. So disappointing. Sums up the game and the season. Team has that personality.
  19. Very well put. He went into crouch position today when he even sensed pressure.
  20. Is that a real quote?
  21. Not an impressive showing by the hawks today. certainly had chances. With weather conditions needed to be able stop the run with the wind and needed to be able to run the ball against the wind. kind of a bizarre game. Always felt like we were better team. Not a good game plan. Never seriously challenged Nicholls D down the field. disappointing loss for sure.
  22. Offense is great throwing short passes between the 20’s.
  23. Lots of guys banged up on sideline.
  24. Holm with strip!
  25. Same slant over and over, that’s what hapoens
