I would guess it was a “misunderstanding”. Could be wrong, Kansas moved away from an OL from twin cities too. Lots of programs put out offers that are never commitable.
He didn’t play that much all season. Was suspended for a couple games before he was dismissed.
Need more beef up front for run d. Need a couple 300lbers at NG and 4 260lbers at DT.
Any idea what happened to Izzy? Having no running game makes getting separation tougher too. Nicholls was daring us to run yesterday as the game wore on. Only so much you can do running slants, picks and 6 yard outs.
Need upgrade at QB, 20-25 lbs more per OL, a WR to stretch field( what happened to adeoti?) and a 220 lb RB that can make people miss and run over dbs, to compliment McKinney and skokna.
FCS programs are largely “development” programs . Yes the occasional guy is recruited who the B1G overlooked but that is rare.
NDSU does not recruit many highly rated recruits. It’s impossible at FCS level.
Our development is deficient. For that reason I voted D.(would have gone C- if that was available).
Evaluation is spot on.
IMO biggest difference yesterday was QB play. We win the game with Fourcade at QB.
OL and DL size and strength are glaring weaknesses. At some point S&C has to play into that problem.
If you don’t have beef up front to stop the run or run the ball you better be able to take some shots deep and we could not and would not.
Not an impressive showing by the hawks today.
certainly had chances. With weather conditions needed to be able stop the run with the wind and needed to be able to run the ball against the wind.
kind of a bizarre game. Always felt like we were better team. Not a good game plan. Never seriously challenged Nicholls D down the field.
disappointing loss for sure.
