It is stunning anyone on this forum or connected to the university would consider dropping football. If UND wants to be the relegated to permanent second fiddle status to NDAC in the state, then that is the path . If that happens by 2030, NDSU would be 20k students and UND less than 10k.

Not sure what you are getting at here. No reason whatsoever UND can't have a dynamic sports program across the board. Just needs to be funded and a priority starting at the top. If UND want to be well-known in ND, MN , and MA focus on only hockey. Outside of those states, hockey is a back burner sport at best.

LB rarely are unblocked and that’s because double teams are not need on DL. A huge problem.

This team is an undisciplined mess with a QB who is bad if his first read is not open and he is not under pressure. Does not matter how talented/untalented a team is when they play like this. This is a pathetic performance, very similar to performance at EWU.

So our athletes are not up to par and our coaching is bad overall yet we have defeated two ranked team in the last month. We went 3-2 in what most FCS “experts” said before the season was a crazy tough stretch of schedule. How many FCS team would have gone 4-1 or 5-0 in that stretch? 2 teams? Maybe 3 or 4? Could the roster use an upgrade in a spot or two? Of course, which roster couldn’t. Are there some coaching problems that are less than perfect? Yes. But remember we have played with 3 different qbs during this stretch and in one of the losses the qb had 5 turnovers on the road in miserable conditions and we still had a chance in the 4th qtr.

Clemson, SC and Tuscaloosa, AL are not exactly great draws for college students either. The promise of a ring draws them in.
