Is there an easy way to do a poll on here? I'm just curious what is considered an acceptable season by some. I might expect too much, but seems like some on here would be happy with 6-5 or a simple one and done playoff appearance.

This team still has a lot of potential. It's only one game, and there were multiple factors in the loss, but I just keep asking myself can Bubba win the big game? And my head says no. I'd love to be proven wrong.

Any idea if we'll have any potential recruits at the game? If it was me, I'd maybe have a few that I think are out of our league or we have little chance at, if we lose, they probably weren't coming here anyway, but if we win and it's the amazing atmosphere we know it can be? Maybe they'll decide they wanna come here.

There was fans that stood between the goalposts. Not press. I understand that they want to cash in on the catwalks, but they didn't have anything ready for last week, so they should've just allowed the regular fans to stand there instead of blank empty tables. Looked pretty poor

I think they should have focused on selling out the seats we have before creating new ones. This will just make people trade their current season tickets in for the catwalk tickets if given that option.

I think OL will be good barring multiple top line injuries. Speaking of OL depth, let's take a look. Only 4 JR/SR on the roster and one's a transfer, how'd we get so thin? Well here's how... 17 Class- 3 scholarships OL, 0 left 18 Class- 5 sch. OL, 2 left (ventrelli/waletzko) 19 Class- 4 sch OL, 1 left (Lavell) 2 PWO (langstaff, neustel) 12 scholarships only 3 left, one unproven, but two pretty good. Imagine if that 2018 class completely missed. On the flip side, look how young we are, hopefully something to build on.

Lickfeldt plays hard, but man I wish he was a little bigger/stronger. Would really help his game.

This class is bound to be smaller given the extra eligibility year so I'm pleased with how it's shaping up so far. Let's close it out with a majority of Hegerle, Larson, Schweigert, a QB (a must every year), RB, WR(if not Hegerle), and a big bad NG.

Knowing absolutely nothing other than he's a very tough human being and good role model, I wouldn't think this is necessary anything related to the game on Saturday... Doesn't seem like he would be the one the "break it to us"

Is there any mention anywhere when or if Bubba and the team knew he was transferring? Since we haven't been playing, he could've let them know awhile ago and is just releasing it. Or maybe it's mutual? Either way, he was fun to watch, but next man up. Let's finally get that monkey off our backs and get a W Saturday.

I'm gonna stay optimistic until I hear otherwise. Does it say anywhere how many tested positive? Any chance of false positives? How deep does contact tracing go? Lot of unknowns, at least for me.

Agreed. It doesn't matter your thoughts on covid, the rules were set before the season, not gonna change in the middle of the season. At least this will give us some time to lick our wounds and heal up before playing. I doubt there's any confidence issues with the team, but playing at home after a loss is always a nice way to help get back on track. Let's heal up, shift focus to MO St, and get ready to make the Alerus Center nice and loud on April 3rd.

Anyone else really disappointed in our defense last two games? I thought we gave up too much to WIU, then we just got man handled last week. Offense made its share of mistakes, but if defense would've kept it closer I think we would've had a chance. Will say I saw quite a few questionable spots/no calls, but that's through my kelly green glasses and definitely not why we lost. Let's win the next two and see what unfolds.

Gonna be in Vegas this Saturday and Salt Lake City the next. With the Espn3 hookup might actually have some options of watching our next two games somewhere. At least I know at a minimum I got my laptop in the hotel room. Anyone got any suggestions? Mainly wondering about SLC, got an idea on my Vegas options.

He's on our sideline every game so I'm thinking he helps with football too.
