A couple more things I forgot to mention. Porter may be the best PK player the Sioux have. How many times have you seen him holding the puck in the opponents corner, while killing a penalty. Also, if the Sioux lose a player I have seen Porter double shift for an entire period. The guy has to be in phenomenal shape.

Porter is one of the best passers on the ice. I would like to see him use his strength some more in front of the net though. Also I wouldn't want to be a player giving half effort when Porter was around.

It really is rare. The most recent case that I can think of is Nate Hagamo who verballed to Wisconsin. Duluth also recently lost a player, and they also lost Tyler Gron, but that was do to academic performance.

Here is what will happen. Toews, Oshie, slap on the wrist. Play the rest of the season, go make millions. Bina, stern slap on the wrist, maybe miss a game or two, threw away chance for Hobey Baker senior year. Whole team, sick of running. Nothing too serious. Saying that this is all because of the media, or a rat, is like saying it is because we have law enforcement. They did the crime, they must suffer the consequences. And yes, I do find this whole thread quite humorous.

With all the embellishing that DU does, I hope they are developing a reputation. In the last year, we have Gwoz admitting he tells his players to turn their backs towards the player when being checked, Fischer's pathetic dive against Minnesota, not this. If we had a decent head of officiating this could be fixed real fast... I do hope Hak sends a video of DU's "greatest hits" before we play.

The best possible thing that could happen to us is also the worst possible thing. 2 games against Wisconsin. That team is really hurting us right now with some common opponents and top 25 RPI. Of course we all know what the bad side of this rematch would be. Maybe a close second would be a rematch with Tech for 2 games.

Dead on, had he not had his injury, he certainly had the potential to go very high, and still might. I suspect that he will be a pure goal scorer not unlike Dingle, but with a far less hilarious name.
