Well, I had a good time with fans of all teams. There was some back and forth with the Gopher fans but no damage was done. Much better experience than I had at the new Ralph (though to be fair Wayne State and Findley probably don't bring out the best in fans)...

First thank you to Senser's for having the games. I don't want to see a dumb post like this cost them any business so here is my response. Lets set the record straight here... I was there, there were many TVs that had the Gophers on. If for no other reason because Sioux fans were also interested. It has been my experience that Senser's has always put on whatever game they can find on request... Yes, Senser's is primarily a Sioux Bar because we support our team better and show up. This crap about them not putting on a game is wrong.

My prediction UND, other UND, Wisco, and Michigan... yeah, that right Good UND beats evil UND and Wisco beats Michigan. UND wins the Championship in a blowout. BTW, way to go out on a limb all of you. I suppose you all have Kentucky in the Basketball championship.

So is the bracket fixed or will the FF be reseeded if necessary? (i.e. will be get Minnesota in the semi's or is it possible in the finals)

What a joke... The all tournment team was: Irman - my pick for MVP Bo - last goal was awesome power, speed, and an amazing shot Parise - best player on the ice Ballard - solid very, always noticable on the ice Jones - whatever, seemed like he was responsible for a bad Vanek goal, maybe I got my numbers mixed up. He never stood out, but then neither did anyone else on D. and Briggs??? - What a joke First King should have been the goalie on the all tourney team as he was the ONLY solid goalie that played 2 games. Briggs was terrible. He let in many soft goals against Duluth and was nothing special against UND. The whole tournment he was a rebound machine. The Gophers won despite Briggs. They won because Brandt played his worst game of the season (considering Wisconsin, but the first two periods were good there), letting in what I thought were 3 or 4 soft goals. That last goal was a joke. I expect that this game was an exception and I hope to see Brandt play the next 4 games as he is the best keeper at UND. Now the real season begins...

WPoS The group in 115 was myself and a group of friends. YaneA had left three signs for us and the rest were our own. Everyone had a pretty good time (other than that most unfortunate outcome)... We had a couple of additional sigs that read: "Vanek: saving energy for the NHL" "Go'fer Lo'fer #26" and "Briggs: He's no Hauser" Someone else brought us some Letters that made out M-E-D-I-O-C-E-R sp? That were used with the rouser... All in all it was a great time. My only question is how is Briggs tourney MVP? I understand giving it to a Gopher but Briggs was terrible. King should have been on the all tournment team.

Perfect time to state that I appreciate all the posters that support other teams that actually have something to say, because that loser just isn't right...

It's close... I'd say Parise just because of the effort he gives on every shift. Take nothing away from Bo. Plus Parise has the Golden Boy image needed to sway Eastern voters. Besides he needs this to become the first 3 time Hobey winner.

A couple of suggestions I know we are the "home" team but without banners it doesn't feel right. This could stand to be shortened... or What, no banners!!! Where are we, Duluth???

The phrase word creative is sometimes overused, but if Spirko truely is a creative playmaker how much fun would it be to see a Bochenski (a scorer), Parise, Spirko line with two playmakers feed Bo?

On the USCHO website there is a tool to calculate Pairwise by making assumptions about how the conference tournments will finish up. I trust all you UND grads / students can find it with out the url (sorry SCCC fans). I have tried a number of combinations and not seen any possible scenario where UND is not the #1 team when everything finishes up. This is because it doesn't appear that Maine can win its comparison with BC. If that is the case I think the worst UND can do is finished tied with Maine and BC where as the RPI of UND would always be higher than that of BC and Maine. This of course will all be pointless when ND take the FF title on our way to the trifecta... On another note just the though of picking Minnesota to beat UND sent chills down my spine, even if it was hypothetical. Fortunately, this won't happen in the real world. Has anyone else tried this tool???
