Dudes, seriously, Seth Jones is watching...

I am not doing the stochastic modeling, but... I don't think we can flip BC or Mich, but a win likely leaves us as #3 overall. That would put us as the #1 in West with Minnesota gaurenteed to be there as a 2 or 3 seed. If the Sioux lose, I have no idea, but probably a 2 seed likely not in Minnesota.

Wow something about seeing Don Adam reffing a game which makes me long for the NCHC. First his linesman blows an easy offsides call leading to a St. Cloud goal that could have been huge. They comedy happened at the end where with St. Cloud serving out a major penalty, they bring 5 skaters and a goalie out to finish the game. Wasn't going to affect anything, but holy incompetence batman... The fact that Don Adam can exist in the WCHA is proof that good teams needed to leave.

I have always wondered if coaches obsess about this as much as we do or if the just think, well on to the next. In this case I would think the coaches are pretty interested.

Yup, I just check and saw the OT final. A CC loss would have been especially bad since we have them 2-0 for common opponents. Looks like if Wisconsin wins we play them and if they lose we get St. Cloud.

Incredible that this beaten down bunch could be looking at a 2 seed. If I had to guess, I would think that a loss to CC would probably be the worst thing that could happen, with wins over UM and Duluth being the best. Given our depth issues though I don't know if this team could win 3 in 3 days. Almost superhuman if the did.

Will he or won't he. Come on Seth this is an easy decision, let's review... Will he be the next great to gome to UND adding to names like Belfour, Patrick, Parise, Zajac, Stafford, Toews, Oshie? He visited with one of the smallest crowds of the season, but Everett averaged 5600 fans last year (seats 8500). If he like that he should see a key series with the Gophers or Denver. or Will he throw his life away and go to Everett ;-) (OK maybe a bit of an exaggeration)? I noticed that Everett is close to the bottom of their league this year. I noticed that Everett has never won a championship. I noticed that Everett has mediocre talent outside of the potential Jones relative to UND. I noticed that Everett has facilities that can't come close to those of UND. I noticed that Everett's top player is college flop Josh Birkholz. I'm just sayin'... Post all the latest here gossip and unsubstanciated rumors here. I predict a decision in March.

Win Sat. and we are pretty well a lock. Amazing as it sounds we have a pretty clear path to a 2 seed, with 2-3 wins in St. Paul.

Hope the fans are smart enough to bring a few Jones signs and start a few Jones chants. Let him know where he is wanted...

If UND wins every remaining game you will like the results...

Might actually be better off not sweeping and advancing if it keeps BSU a TUC.

Interesting fact to show just how close UND was to the top of the pack despite injuries. WCHA Champs Minnesota had 24 total wins but played 6 games against the bottom quarter of all college hockey (4 of them non-conference cupcakes). This included 2 games where they ran up huge points against Sacred Heart, the worst team in Hockey. The Sioux had 4 less wins but also played only played 2 games against the worst teams (Alaska Anchorage). Looked at this by KRACH Also note that Brock Nelson was the WCHA goal scoring champ on a pretty mediocre offensive team and tied for overall with Nick Bjugstad (who is a hell of a good player). But he did put up 4 of his goals against the kind of cupcakes that UND didn't schedule. Nelson did have one more game though. Playoffs should be fun.

I think the key question is If we beat BSU 2x does their RPI say over .5? If so that is great and we can probably move up further. The really sucky thing is that we might be in a better situation if we win 2-1 rather than 2-0. That is why the PWR cliff sucks and KRACH should be used. If we lose the series, I fully expect the season is over.

Whew, I didn't realize that RMU didn't get an auto bid. With that the Sioux should sneak in. Love to get Cornell for game 1 :-)
