  1. God is clearly a Holy Cross fan...
  2. Welcome to the best hockey program in the nation. Now hit the weight room, you're 50 lbs under weight... Edit: And what is up with playing in the NAHL next year???
  3. Hey Lamiorello, shut up and get back in goal for the Sioux...
  4. I assume he will be a 2007?
  5. I hope so, Chuck has been correct before IIRC.
  6. If bringing in Darcy keep Travis around for his junior year, we should bring in Kelsey for his senior year... Here's your Fighting Sioux Scoring: Zajac, from Zajac, and Zajac...
  7. Drew Stafford = Great player I would like to have on my team Travis Zajac = Great player I would like to have on my team Danny Irmen = Great player I would like to have on my team Ryan Potulmy = Great player I would like to have on my team Phil Kessel = Great player I would like to have on my team
  8. When asked about his brother's playing style Matt Jones said something like "he play's with more of an edge." What an understatement. This guy has a mean streak that just doesn't stop. As he gets stronger he is going to be a feared D-man. I thought he played well at the final five, but after watching the games again, I thought he was great. He made a number of plays that were not flashy, but very effective, like simple taking out a body at the blue line. And when he goes into a corner, somebody is going to take a few shots. He takes some penalties, but many are good penalties, such as holding or hooking to stop a scoring chance. He did get caught up, which led to SCCC's second goal. But this was pretty unlucky I think. If I remember correctly, he is still draft eligible this year, and I expect that he will be taken. I'm glad we have him.
  9. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooo!!!
  10. Yes, he is... That is why he should pick UND, D-men who play for UND are referred to as "Oaks."
  11. Good luck with that...
  12. Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaassssseeeeeee let it be Miller. I think he is a dynamic player and quite fast. Marvin did not look good and took a terrible penalty in St. Paul. I expect Miller to be a mainstay in the line-up next year.
  13. The tech band is maybe the best pep band I have ever heard, sorry UND... They were great and did 4 different versus to in heaven there is no beer. I thought there was just 1. I found these lyrics, but these are a little different: http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/i/...eisnobeer.shtml Also the sioux fans were loud and proud. I got to stand right behind the huge robbie earl dive flag. 15,000 fans cheers when "from wisconsin, #10, Robbie Earl, Unsportsman line conduct, diving" was read... The Sioux played with heart and were the better of two good teams. We had a Wicso rube in front of us who when wisco scored to make it 2-0 , turned around and said, "that's the game." After the game, I reminded him that we played without our best player. Way to go Kaip , a scoring machine! Lee, really struggled getting the puck out of the zone, but look good on all but 1 PP. Chorney, Jones, and Smaby were rock solid as always. Smaby was on a 60 minute search and destroy mission. Smaby also played huge minutes in the third. Radke sucked and was almost entirely responsible for Wisconsin's 2nd goal. He is the weakest of the 6 D-men. Parise, kept the game exciting, but kept the puck out of the net. Toews, shoot the puck!!! stop passing so much, you have the greatest shot I have ever seen in a sioux uni. Be selfish. Oshie, sparky (despite missing an open net 2 minutes in), and Zajac all looked really good. Prpich had a great spin move and shot, but as is typically the case with him, no goal.
  14. I hate to say this, but I think Minnesota is going to have a feast...
  15. I smell a scandal
  16. LET THE FLAMING BEGIN Final vote 73-72 over some loser named Oshie... Seriously though I would contend that Chorney was robbed more so than Oshie.
  17. You have to appreciate Quinnipiac's strategy,
  18. http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archiv...6/wcha_0426.htm
  19. You need to get some better sources.
  20. I second that...
  21. I also heard you were doing the amputation...
  22. I heard that Stafford was going to have a leg amputated... But should be ready to play next week...
  23. FYI, Jordy Murray was one of 40 players to receive an invitation to try out for the US National Development Team. Congrats. But stay at Shattuck...
  24. Ummm, Yes they were.
