In 08, I would expect Lee, Chorney, & maybe Finley to have left. Bina & Radke will have graduated. This would leave: Jones LaPoint Marto There would be a need. However, I don't think you send a 6'4" 220# Shattuck guy to Juniors. My guess is that he would be a true 07.

EDIT: I also noticed that Ben Blood is now listed at 6'4" 220# for Shattuck. Hmmmm. He did some growing. What school might be a good fit? (even though we don't need a D-man for 07, I think)

Did he grow another inch? I suspect the Sioux and their weight regiment will be a good fit for LaPointe

Come on Rick, I would like to hear some names... For potential 07s I can only think of 2 (Western Canada) that are available that are even in the same league as Ben Winnett. Those would be Riley Nash and Lucas Bloodoff. Do you know something else or are you just blowing smoke.

Danny gave a very good reason for verbaling early. That is that he wanted to have it taken care of before he went to Ann Arbor. Given the rational, I have no problem with this. Besides, it will be nice to have an insider in Ann Arbor. If the Sioux offered him a spot, I have NO Doubt there is a reason for it. Hak has earned unlimited cred. It is interesting that we now have an 09 with no 08s

Interestingly enough, Kristo is almost the exact same age as David Toews who is ocnsidered an 08. This means that he may be a candidate for acceleration if his game is ready.

I've heard this rumor from a number of sources. Somebody raised that kid right because rumor has it he is a Sioux fan in Gopher land. I do hope that we landed this one, though.
