The Sioux give few full scholarships as I understand. They can break them up into 1/2s or 1/4s. A scholarship probably isn't so important for someone like Toews who should do OK financially... It's alot easier to have them together at home than on the road. On the road, the opposition can match up their 5 best defensive players whenever they are on the ice.
