  1. Yeah, if you figure 30 teams #45 would place him as some teams #2 overall prospect (on average). This is really good for a college sophamore.
  2. Jones is an angry, angry man... Edit, can I get a "YOU ALL" from the crowd...
  3. Wow, well said for a 15 year old. PCM, watch out she may be after your sudo-reportership...
  4. I strongly agree with these rankings. The Sioux did not bring in alot of high end talent this year, just Forney, (nor did they need to). Now we will see how UND develops talent. We have had alot of good players that arrived without too much fan fair. Jordan Parise and FABIAN!!!! are recent examples. I would look for Zajac or Grieco or Genoway or Vandevelde to play a much larger role than anyone expected. But as for the rankings, I think they are dead on.
  5. wheeeewwwww, for a second there I thought we got screwed...
  6. OK, I'm about ready for a Malone Nash Lamoureux Blood simultaneous commitment. And just for good measure, well take Bruneteau, too...
  7. Ummm.... I guess I'm going to miss the players in the band... but the band?
  8. Lets hope he is focused on the program and not the town...
  9. I am a little surprised that Vandevelde didn't make the list, but he really didn;t light the USHL on fire last year. Also no love for Zajac. WCHA is WELL represented.
  10. alot alot alot
  11. Good cover for yourself mikejm...
  12. Kessel
  13. Minnesota will be very competitive this year as always. Goligoski may be the best 5x5 offensive d-man in the nation. They will score goals as always, and continue to have a big ice advantage. Their goaltending will be shaky as it has been for 20 years. I think their biggest loss (and Gopher fans will hat this) is Harrington. He was a defensive liability at best, but he was the reason the PP has been so potent, maybe Goligoski and Johnson can step up, but this is a huge question.
  14. Jones has alot of mean. Just cut down on some of the stupid, please.
  15. Worst guy on the D yes Is that bad no He was a true freshman and showed great skating to go with the size. almost everyone of the great Sioux d-men in the last few years didn't find their stride until their sophamore or junior seasons.
  16. Goon, I like you optimistic goal predictions, BUT Lee 15 I hope your right, but I SERIOUSLY doubt it.
  17. Also note that Wheeler went 5 in 2005 while Kessel went 5 in 2006. Kessel is a much better player than Wheeler and a legit top 5 pick.
  18. I fiugre the Sioux to finish 8th in the WCHA this year...
  19. I see how well this posts... I know you can't take these numbers to seriously BUT: I like to look at % change in weight, it is a fairer comparison. Everyone from Finley on had a hell of an offseason. Miller??? this was the offseason a year after an injury, he should have gained weight. Toews gets the hardest worker award, just beating out Ryan Duncan and Ryan Martens. I seriously doubt Bina was never 180 unless he was weighed after swimming in a snowmobile suit... Height Wright Height Weight % Weight 2005 2006 2005 2006 Change 28 Robbie Bina Defense 5'8 5/8 180 163 0 -17 -9.4% * Serious Injury (and 2005 lie

    Goalie

Yes, Phil's biggest problem has not been his play, but rather the team in from of him. That must change this year. His GAA and S% have been outstanding and everything you could expect from an elite goalie.
  21. No thanks, I know what Eades looks like...
  22. Not if someone else does it...
  23. I am quite certain there is a certain poster here who can guide us as to who was visiting...
  24. Not sure on hair color, but Riley Nash has a common Sioux background and fits the description: http://www.bchl.bc.ca/leagues/rosters_prof...playerID=175980
