I think most people mean they are a bust compared to other classes and compared to other team’s Jr class, not a bust because people had high expectations. Outside of Jost and hoff their expectations were low, and their performance has been very low. Which in turn equals a busted class. I think their class has been the bulk problem with the team the last 2 seasons. Missing on recruiting of one class plays a pretty heavy toll on things.

Completely agree. I was hoping to see a lot more of him and Guch together this season. Adams never got to play his role he's made to play.

Underclassmen? I'd cut Johnson 1st, Rieger 2nd and Yon 3rd. Not sure I would cut anyone else.

Depending on how badly next season goes, I'd say he has next season to figure it out. And if I had to take a guess, I'm thinking they'll be around .500 again and will miss the NCAA tournament again and we'll all be thinking he got let go one season too late.

With how low this program has fallen, and with it being quite obvious that brad has One season left to turn it around; What are the chances he dumps Shaw and cuts at least one player? If neither of those things happen I’m confident Brad just doesn’t have what it takes to be a head coach. Those are blaringly obvious things that need to happen, am I wrong? If neither of those things happen UND will be around .500, and hang around the wrong side of the bubble once again. Then Brad Berry will be let go one season too late.

Yeah poor oh poor early 20s “kids” with full ride scholarships, kings of campus, jersey chased, future cash pile hauling NHL contract “kids”. I feel really bad for putting pressure on them and their $400,000 coach who has the best facilities in the world as backup. Not the end of the world no, but being a sports fan and doner to a school where not much else is going so hot, I miss being able to at least lean on the hockey team. The tools for success that this coaching staff has in hand makes it nearly impossible to fail, but they’re somehow finding a way. That’s the most frustrating part. People care about this program so I think it’s a healthy sign that so many people are upset. A lot of time and money is spent following them

It’s like berry is purposely trying to piss off the fans right now. How is Johnson even considered traveling with the team, or worst yet playing in the post season, or worst possible...seeing time on the PP.

Just one last insult to the season. Bury the business suits into the ground. Those died when they were brought out to beat canisus...not to mention they lost. Gross

And went 2-3-1 vs those teams. 2-4-0 if you count bemidji scoring in the 3on3

That’s horrendous. But what’s even worse? In 12 of those 19 games they’ve scored 1 or fewer goals. In Exactly 1/3 of their games they’ve either been shut out or only scored 1 goal. And over half they’ve scored 2 or less. That’s Anchorage caliber offensive stats

Has a UND team ever scored fewer goals in a season?

Can UND drop back down to D2? Not too sure any teams would’ve done very well there either but they would’ve been a little more competitive. And maybe the hockey team could move to The Atlantic conference where they’d fit in a little better. UND needs some changes, but we all know none will be made. Not even the president will get the boot when an abnormally big donor calls for his job. My donations and my season ticket purchases will be on halt for at least the 2019-2020 seasons. When every single sport is down at the same time, and all the others have been cut, there seems to be deeper problems.

I’m ready for this long frustrating season to be over. I’ll be happy if they go out with a bang by burying 1 goal tonight. No way they win this series and absolutely no way they win the nchc tournament so why drag it on? Has there ever been an overall worse year at UND? If there has, it’s been within the last 3 years. We can’t even lean on hockey anymore thanks to soft raspBerry

I’ve been saying the same thing. He didn’t even get wrapped all the way around. The puck was heading away from the goal line. Thome May as well have not been there.
