  1. Never taught of that angle, that's potentially pretty huge, that could play into the B1G wanting us even more. Maybe WH is a type of sport that could make money from TV if it were in the B1G.
  2. Could be a problem for the WCHA if Mich and Mich St start WH, or some other B1G shcools, once the number of teams reaches 6.
  3. When I was in college, MN, Wis. Mich, Mich State, N. Dame were all in the WCHA., That's 5 out of the 7. And you said the word History, Add ND to those 5 schools and that adds up to the most successful history in Div I hockey in the country.
  4. The GF Herald had the UND Summit and MVFC news out before it was announced. Should of heard the screaming on Bizonville in that how can they print this yet, the MVFC Presidents aren't even voting till tomorrow. Well, the next day, fans are waiting for news to come out of that meeting. All we got: MVFC Meeting Pres. A “We have enough buses” Pres. C “We have to enlarge gas tank on our bus” Pres I “We’ll have to carry a spare tire” Pres. G “We will have to Fly” Pres. D “I will go along with whatever” Pres. H. “We might leave” Institution E “We don’t have a Pres.” Pres. J “We don’t really care about FB” Institution B “We are losing our Pres.” Pres. F “Does FOIA apply with texting?” Patty Viverito “Break, re-group in half hour” And, the next day at the Betty it's announced.
  5. Maybe someone else beats them. If we get there. let's win the 2 games in Fargo playing anyone else.
  6. Free throw line has become a big asset for us, remember how poorly we shot free throw at some of the games in the early part of the season?
  7. Pretty exciting, isn't it, thanks to the MVFC for knocking down that wall on N side of NDSU that was keeping your team from going north, C U in 2020.
  8. Only to your last paragraph, NDSU is not as dominant as they used to be. Bisonville understands this, just seems some here don't.
  9. Ok, to be fair, Posting from a neutral stand point. Going to try do this in a few statements. Both institutions are ND's best. Both SD's and Montana beat NDSU in last 18 months in close games. JM physically beat NDSU. NDSU has won some close games. That's slipping from years just prior. UND had a undeafeted conference record. Lost 3 close games one a playoff game, UND won some close games. That's improving from just years prior. Going into playoffs, both schools were seeded, #1 & #7 repectfully, both a little overrated. I would say today NDSU is still a better team but the teams are moving in the direction of equality. When all of above is understood, you'll see why. Here's what usually happens (seen it many times with the ND U's), the movement of the favorite team's talent in a down slide slips below the talent of the other team.
  10. Tweaking ain't enough when the talent pool is slipping! And now coaches leaving added to the equation. Going to be a different landscape when we C U in the Hawk's Nest in 2020.
  11. So, Bizon of U, How many warnings is that 4 U now????
  12. I was there that day, front center - 5 people in front of me, in the UND Field House. Talked to security people that day and they said how much more security protection was present compared to when Pres. J. Kennedy was here.
  13. What in heaven's name? Hope all that made you feel better. He is sliding: Iowa State, then down to Montana State, then down to NDSU.
  14. Repeat "Just because you were a coach at the FBS level doesn't mean you were a good coach." and with that, fired.
  15. That makes a grand slide, Polasek heads to Iowa and Messingham is moving 1/2 back to the same state. Bizon are slipping, no grand slam here.
  16. Iowa State fires offensive coordinator http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/10064660/iowa-state-cyclones-fire-offensive-coordinator-courtney-messingham-running-backs-coach-kenith-pope
  17. The schoold as a whole, with the steps UND made in bugeting last year to finish this bienium, which ends June 30th, we could be around a 13%-14% reduction for the next two years. We'll have to see what our final apporpriation is from the state. Thinking for NDSU not so good. Wishing the best for all of HE.
  18. Things are sliding with the friends of ours to the south!
  19. The copycatting all started in 1890 when ND Agricultural College started after we were in buisness for 7 years (1883). In the early part of the last century, they were called the Fighting Aggies. How many of you knew that?
  20. Jamar Cain, defensive ends coach left the Bizon last month to become the new DL coach at San Jose State. Cain was a good coach with strong recruiting ties in CA and will be missed. Buddha Williams from U Tenn Martin will replace Coach Cain.
