Someone from an upper class suburb. Rolling Hills is on the Palos Verdes peninsula in LA. Rowe was from one of the New Trier suburbs of Chicago and Moore/Morrow were from Gold Coast of CT. It's one thing to be wealthy (which Sanderson and some others no doubt were, hockey isn’t cheap), but growing up in a very affluent community just breeds a kid differently. You're expected to go to the kind of school your parents would be proud to mention at the social club or black tie events.

Regarding Fleece, we aren't a destination for upper class kids, and those that committed either haven't made it to campus due to personal decisions (Rowe, Morrow) or were a bust (Moore).

If the Gophers win, I'll take solace in Rand losing the championship game in Tampa again.

It's coaching in MN and the school isn't circling the drain like its Stearns County equivalent. They will get some good applicants. With Knott passing on it they need to take their time now.

The one thing about Moore is he had a family connection to Berry. His dad or uncle played with and possibly roomed with Berry in the minors. Would have to go back to Moore's commit article in the Herald for specifics but I don't think either party would be malicious to the other based on this.

If/when UND ever has a chance to do the same to Minnesota, I hope UND's attempt is more "savage" as the kids say.
