  1. The original run was incredible. Shouldn't have rebooted though. Also it's too bad Phil Hartman couldn't voice Zapp as originally intended.
  2. The source is a chump is my point. If I shared Charlotte Clymer or some other equivalent on the left it would be greeted similarly.
  3. Hard to pick the best example of that dude making a fool of himself, but here's one of them. Milo Yanno-whatever had him write for his website in a section called incel corner.
  4. Younger me had my opinion of the Nobel Prizes shaped by Futurama: Prof. Farnsworth: It's a little experiment that might win me the Nobel Prize. Leela: In what field? Prof. Farnsworth: I don't care; they all pay the same.
  5. The Athletic is running through every team's top prospects/rookies, and had this to say about our future Senators: Shane Pinto, C, North Dakota-NCHC Nov. 12, 2000 | 6-foot-3 | 194 pounds Tier: Legit NHL player Skating: 50 Puck Skills: 55 Physical Game: 60 Hockey Sense: 60 Pinto had a great season. He was a top player for one of the best teams in college hockey, and was one of the best players on USA’s U20 team. Pinto accomplishes a lot, but he’s not going to jump off the page when you watch him. He’s got a clean stride but lacks explosiveness. He has very good skill but it doesn’t show consistently. Pinto’s game is driven by his intelligence and competitiveness. He makes a lot of clever and creative plays with the puck. Pinto isn’t going to go end-to-end but his playmaking can look high-end. He is great playing in the slot and in front of the net. “He owns the middle third of the ice” said one NHL scout. He competes well for space and loose pucks and projects as a two-way center at the pro level. Jacob Bernard-Docker, D, North Dakota-NCHC June 20, 2000 | 6-foot-1 | 194 pounds Tier: Legit NHL player Skating: 55 Puck Skills: 55 Physical Game: 45 Hockey Sense: 60 Bernard-Docker played big minutes for North Dakota and for Canada’s U20 team on their path to a gold medal. He’s not a flashy player, but does a lot of things well. Bernard-Docker is a mobile defenseman. He can get up into attacks with men, and has the ability to close gaps efficiently. His skill doesn’t pop, but he moves pucks at a high level, especially on his exits. Due to his great first pass and feet, his transition game is excellent and the puck isn’t in his zone for long. Offensively he lacks flair but he has a good stick and a shot that can beat goalies when he gets it through.
  6. Didn't Republicans control Congress for a while during his term?
  7. He hasn't done anything for infrastructure, which is what I was most excited about from his campaign. Promise broken.
  8. Seems like balkanization is the one topic where everyone here is on the same page!
  9. The concept started in the 80s with the book Nine Nations of North America, and has been revisited a bunch recently: https://www.businessinsider.com/the-11-nations-of-the-united-states-2015-7
  10. Missoula just added direct flights to a bunch of new cities in CA (SD, SJ, SF), and Bozeman will soon have 6(!) airlines fighting over direct to LAX. Telecommuters are moving in droves.
  11. No idea. Will be interesting to see. I'm convinced it's in our lifetime.
  12. We got a preview of the balkanization with the reopening "alliances" that were formed, and sure enough, the Northeast banded together.
  13. I think west coast breaks away first, and sooner if Trump is re-elected. It won't be smooth since there will be an exodus/influx as it happens, and people everywhere hate transplants from California.
  14. Media undoubtedly; grifters like The Lincoln Project are exploiting the situation to line their own pockets. Local government probably depends on the location. The pandemic kicked our inevitable balkanization into high gear.
  15. By we, do you mean the public, the media, the government...?
  16. So the virus was not a conspiracy against the president. Glad we're on the same page disagreeing with the creepy old actor.
  17. Do you believe in a "Deep State" or in QAnon? Or Lizard People?
  18. Really makes you think. Did Biden, Soros, Bill Gates, Count Chocula AND Skeletor plan this at one of their secret Deep State meetings? @Goon I'll hang up and listen.
  19. She is the definition of a "globalist". Swiss born aristocrat showing preference for another culture rather than her own. She probably chills with the offspring of *GASP* George Soros and (((them))).
  20. It used to be "I do it for the judges" as if that was an acceptable rationale, now it's some sort of gambler's psychology where they can't cut their losses.
  21. Not that it's important, but a co-worker attended Reed with him; there's no way he's 38 unless he was an undergrad in his 30's.
  22. Posobiec, Andy Ngo, and now Ian Miles Cheong. You completed the trifecta of smooth brain "journalists". It's a tough call but I think Cheong is the worst of the lot.
  23. Not all Trump supporters are white trash incels, but all of the rest decided that associating with them isn't a deal breaker. Also: EDIT: my bad, you probably believe in QAnon, so you think Trump was getting close to Epstein because he is the child-saving messiah, NOT because he is a sexual predator.
  24. ***Trigger warning*** If you think he is a hero, you must feel the same way about this guy:
