We arguably did the best of any team in year one of instant eligibility in the portal, hopefully we keep it up. ND, BC and Quinny are the only others that did as well.
My point was they offered the older brother hoping it would help get the blue chip younger sibling a la Michigan with Luca Fantilli. Hopefully Omaha honors their original offer.
Was Siebell good enough to consider as a transfer down the road? Oddly that's a question to consider with the new transfer rule. USA hockey goalie of the year is no easy feat.
Omaha recently got a commit from his older brother/cousin. Bet that stings to see Grayden commit to UND instead.
EDIT: Brad's article confirms it's his brother.
We now have 4, 5, 6 and 12 from this article. Missed on a few as well, but we are doing just fine.

Agreed. Although ss.com regulars don't sweat it. Onhockey.tv is still up too, often sites like that don't last season to season.
It won't be the same without Holden, either.
The new recruiting restrictions also favor blue bloods and big names. Nobody is reaching out to schools like Lake Superior State on their own, and prior to a certain age that's the only way to start a conversation with a recruit. Look at what schools had freshly available commitments announced on Aug 1st and soon after.
Here's to hoping the Argus leader is wrong.
