James at 40th overall. Lorenz and Lucius dropping.

Stinks we didn't get Cooley after his decommit or Howard. The Chaska kids seem born to be Gophers. And if we ever get a first rounder out of Michigan/Massachusetts, I'll drink to that. Having both Chyzyk and Mattson on staff at the hockey middle school Snuggerud and Brink's dads run could help getting some southwest metro blue chips down the road. More than anything, I'm curious if we can start getting some of the studs out of Winnipeg/MB to consider UND with NIL money exceeding their MJ stipend. The cousins from there both drafted today would have been targets in that scenario.

Haha, well they are all Quebecois so definitely a possibility.

Hopefully we're on Calvin Vachon. NHL family living in western Montana a la Sanderson.

A similar situation happened at my wife's Alma mater where they determined "Missionaries" was too imperialistic. Too many people haven't figured out how to reach self-actualization and take up these causes instead.

His cousin is married to WBL native and UMass grad Justin Braun

Can't remember the last time we had so many award winning recruits in the USHL. Blake, McLaughlin, James, Strathman, Perron all with all USHL or all rookie.

Not sure if we offered, but Leo Gruba to Cloud. Both parents are alum, not a surprise.

To any current players who read this, some names to use: Painting Sue, Mower Throwers, and many more. https://www.oregonlive.com/beavers/2022/05/eager-oregon-state-beavers-isaac-hodgins-football-teammates-use-nil-rules-to-form-a-yard-service-business.html -
Watch the replay below of Hain's goal ending their season last year in the NCHC semi. Tuomisto took a VERY stupid penalty to give us a PP, and after the goal he coasts across the ice and slams his stick.

Corporations in MN are willing to pay higher taxes to pay harder workers less money than they would have to elsewhere. Minneapolis is the American middle class's last stand.

Augustana already in the CCHA, assumedly. Would be a shock if it's Lindenwood or an entirely new program.

Jason Smallidge is a right hand D with NCHC experience, and as a MN resident gets a discount on tuition in lieu of a scholarship. -
Tyson Dyck up to 110 in final scouting ranking. Any other uncommitted prospects ranked?

A big part of Senden's appeal was he captained his high school and junior teams to championships (both were underdogs too, I think). Let's see if he's got the NCAA in him.

Any time I read a Wellens article it makes me thankful for Schloss. https://www.therinklive.com/mens-division-1/nchc/umd-mens-hockey-bulldogs-land-usa-hockey-ntdp-center-cole-spicer-for-2022-23-season Seriously, the lede starts off with a sentence that an editor would rewrite: " The Grand Forks native was originally committed to North Dakota, having already signed an NLI. " The was serves no purpose, there's passive voice, and he assumes the audience knows what an NLI is. The quote he pulled from Spicer is garbage too. Then he randomly inserts a tweet that he doesn't even address.

Choosing Duluth effectively makes his ability/likelihood to transfer here non-existent. Time to start prepping the personalized chants for his appearances at the Ralph.
