  1. Air Force sanctioned for contacting a prospective recruit and his father prior to him officially entering the portal.
  2. https://x.com/JessRMyers/status/1707213701395468440?s=20 Koster out for the series in Grand Forks.
  3. Jake Stuart committed to Denver a few days ago.
  4. A hockey pundit tweeted (I'm paraphrasing) that Eiserman was offered a 6 figure NIL deal by a blue blood out east sometime over the summer. For what it's worth CHN's article says there's speculation it's due to a sick family member. But until that's confirmed NIL will be the rumor.
  5. They've got room for him now...
  6. Been expecting this ever since the report of the offer came a few months ago. Next year's BU series in Grand Forks just got more interesting.
  7. That $100k NIL offer to BC/BU got him thinking he could buy a nice car.
  8. Brad's season preview podcast is up on Spotify. He's expecting Logan Britt to surprise fans.
  9. Gruba showed as uncommitted on a Fargo line sheet. Not exactly high end but that could be who they meant.
  10. https://www.therinklive.com/junior-and-prospects/ushl/und-commit-cade-littler-is-off-to-a-strong-start-for-the-cedar-rapids-roughriders
  11. 32 Thoughts podcast mentioned that he and Miles Koules were good friends playing LA youth and NTDP together. Also mentioned that Kerdiles was the first local kid to play for the Ducks.
  12. Sure seems like it. Almost 6 years ago: https://www.sbncollegehockey.com/nchc/2017/11/14/16648712/bob-motzko-jim-montgomery-fight-cole-guttman
  13. Shortly after Brad notices Tory Pitner is no longer committed to UMass, he commits to Denver. Could be a repeat of Guttman, although I think it was Montgomery that Motzko cussed out about that flip.
  14. Wow. https://x.com/austenswankler/status/1705316210106097937?s=20
  15. If NIL deals are eclipsing six figures as rumored, we will hopefully get more foreign blue chips in NCAA and have fewer bolts/leverage situations. They may not play for us, but the trickle down effect brought Zellers home to UND, and a 3-4 year stud is more our style than one and done.
  16. Minot State vs Liberty on ESPN+ tonight. Two of the top club teams.
  17. We have 3 on the list, and Swanson is a notable omission. https://thehockeynews.com/news/2024-nhl-draft-rankings-the-first-watch-list
  18. Too many to keep track of them all.
  19. Hate to point this out but that was a decade ago this season.
  20. We've had a lot of commits not make it to campus recently too. Bowen, Reid, Mancinelli, Halliday, Rizzo, Morrow, Donovan, and probably more I can't think of off the top of my head. Some didn't develop as expected, and others.... we don't need to relive what transpired.
  21. Mentioned in the other thread how BG is fresh off a settlement with a dead students family after a hazing incident. Incredibly stupid to be doing more of it while its still on everyone's mind. As for Swankler, he will probably sit fall semester and take the scholarship from whoever is this year's blue chip that bolts to the CHL *knock on wood*.
  22. Can't imagine the coach had anything to do with the hazing.
  23. It seems like they are now coming down harder on people, like the guy at Western who missed a season and had to pay his income back.
  24. The school is still reeling from this, there's a good chance they are overreacting while the ink dries on the check they wrote. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Stone_Foltz
  25. Swankler shouldn't even be playing college hockey to begin with, as much as I disagree with why.
