I was under the impression it's done after the first goal scored by the home team (based on TBT games watched/attended), but if UND does it differently then that's for the best.

Not fun on TV, and the novelty is worn off in person. Also can kill momentum/ flow of the game. Best case scenario is to score early in the game or late in the first period.

Watching a little bit of St Cloud vs St Thomas, Anhorn made some dumb plays that gave UST two PP goals. The boarding penalty was a classic "Lucia-era" player turning their back to a check along the boards, but you've got to be smart and pull up when it happens. The other penalty might not have been called had he not done the same thing (driving an opponent into your own goalie) less than a minute prior.
