This Gopher team is really loaded. Did we really go toe to toe with them.

That looked like interference on Okabe to me.

Since when did the national tournament become more physical than the NCHC. The WCHA teams used to have a problem in the national tournament bringing the physical play down a notch for the eastern Refs. Doesn’t seem to be the case tonight at least.

Bub could take some lessons from Big Red about how to skate off the clock with a two goal lead. UND routinely lost their type of games this year.

Anybody else see that Howard at Duluth has entered the transfer portal. A high NHL draft choice.

Another large crowd for a national tournament!

I hear this. I’ve been lost all day.

Hak’s teams were way better at protecting a lead, at least that’s my recollection. I think they practiced a lot on trapping schemes and then used them when they had a lead. I think Denver is good at this too. They could score off their defensive system too when the other team made mistakes chasing the game.

3 guys trying to get the puck along the wall. All kinds of open guys behind them. Just like a bunch of Squirts.

We have already had more missed and bad passes than CC did in 3 periods this afternoon.

Jake was also critical of their breakouts and he was absolutely correct. Bubs skin getting a little thin. Geez Bubs just go back to our culture and forget about it.

Our Slovakian scout must have took a pass on this Omaha goalie.

She is the master of understatement supposedly skilled players and our breakout play is bouncing it off the boards or lobbing the puck up the ice and hoping our guy catches up to it. Just horrible breakouts all year.

I often think 4 should be tried at power forward.

Serious people know that Wisconsin won’t even give passing thought to anybody on the Nodak staff.

I agree on Larson. He’d be a good choice and could probably make a lot more money in Madison.
