Come Read All About it. Come get your daily #fearporn: Our view: When will Greater Grand Forks get serious about the coronavirus pandemic?
-
Warning: This is not an Onion article. Experts say it may be time for grocery stores to ban customers from coming inside.

Put medical staff back to work....heighten the curve!
-
I keep seeing article after article about medical staff furloughs all over the country.
-
I'm wondering if this is starting to apply... Contrary to popular opinion, Big companies (walmart, facebook, apple, google etc) love regulations and red tape. They are usually the only ones with the capital and resources available to overcome them thus limiting competition. Big banks (et al) are like keep this shutdown going! A rising tide lifts all boats. The big boats are already out at sea when the tide starts to lower.

Supposedly we ripped the first half the bandaid off slow. Now some are ready for the bandaid to come off quickly. If you ask me that's the good compromise. We've pretty much proven we have enough "hospital capacity" now.

California has about an 11% test positivity rate.
-
So you're saying North Dakotas first test was how many days behind the national average?
-
South Carolina to reopen beaches and retail stores this week.
-
That would be the same nationwide and already built into the data. Which wouldn't explain ND 4% vs suppose nationwide average of 20%.
-
To date, North Dakota has issued 13,630 tests. 585 have come back positive. 4% test positive rate.
-
How many different tests are out there? Does ND have a lot of false negatives or others false positives? ND has usually had a 2% to 3% test-positive rate (Edit: I looked it up. True number is 4%). https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/610132/

You test everyone is GF >10,000 plus probably have had it or currently do. I'm shocked by how people are acting shocked a bunch of tests came back positive. More tests = higher numbers. The huge increase just happened to correspond with Grand Forks first drive up testing.

Now that Walz said it was okay to ride ATVs this summer, I might have to load up the quad and head to Appleton OHV Park. Which I just discovered after watching Pete Hager run around that park on the same atv:
-
What's next? Theyll start putting sand in kids playgrounds too?
-
That meat package plant in Sioux Falls. Owned by a Chinese company.
-
Walz: open the golf courses. Newsom: put sand in the skateparks.
-
Which just means Grand Forks will be getting over Covid19 faster than Hennepin County. Or GF just has a higher testing capacity per capita. 40 to 80% of us are eventually going to get the virus with or without stay at home orders.
-
Gov. Walz issued an executive order allowing people to go golfing, fishing, boating, off road fun. Summer is open in Minnesota! Although camping still illegal in Minnesota.
-
Antibody testing makes more sense to see if you've already had it.
-
Exactly. Testing doesnt mean squat unless did multiple times which is unrealistic.
-
I never understood the "we can only reopen" with massive testing. Even in a perfect utopia of at home covid tests at Walmart. We expect everyone to buy them and test themselves twice a week for a year or two?
-
Good video to watch:
-
Maybe. That's why the question was proposed.

Why did Schlossman make a new SiouxSports handle? How many does he have now?
