Official numbers should be released soon. Doesnt the census release estimates every year or two?
-
Panda Express is going into the new Memorial Union.
-
No. More inside the building as dmkSioux pointed out. (He might might have meant to quote you and not me.)

"Roxies Bar and Grill coming soon" sign in the Riverwalk Centre.

Now that another change was announced today for the new hospital... Which one is the bad decision? Or are they incompetent?

The McDonalds on the interstate and highway 2 lobby is still closed. Burger King is 100% back to normal. No closed tables for social distancing and no masks on the employees.

Dont be surprised when you see a "consulting company" on the payroll of a university. And the owner of that consulting company also has another company that has been giving that universities athletes money. Come to think of it...The Ralph just quadrupled the rent cost to UND for the use of the facility!

It'll come in sponsorship form. Not "physical work" like a commercial.
-
Itll start off small but quickly grow. Depends on the athlete. There will be bidding wars for athletes.
-
Coaches will definately be using at as a recruiting tool. "We have a great relationship with New Arm Sewing Company. So far all our athletes have received $10,000 a year. But youre special. I wouldnt be surprised to see you get double that." Wink wink All these athletes need to do is have a twitter account. And tweet "Thanks to Doug Burgums Downtown Fargo Development group. They are doing great work." Two seconds from their phone.

Donny Schatz, the North Dakotan, who has dominated the World of Outlaws for the past decade, will run this Friday (7/9/2021) in Nascars truck series at the dirt track at Knoxville. Interesting to see who is better thr guys who have more experience at the track or the guys who have more experience with the equipment. That is sort of what the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) is doing. They have some racing legends all competing and they usually throw in a local ringer. It's only, I believe, six or seven races in total. Only a few races left. Saturday nights on CBS. And Tony Stewart is the degree of separation. He runs in SRX. And Schatz drives for him in WoO.

NDSU and Burgum have to be loving this decision.
-
Few years ago they approved giving school giving athletes "spending money" above everything school related paid for. $2,000 to $5,000. This is more money for athletes now.
-
I believe there is/was. Something about "market wage." So they couldnt pay you $100 an hour to cut lawns.
-
So the rich get richer. Such as, Nike will pay Oregon athletes. Small guy will have harder time competing. Slippery slope.

I recently learned theres a motocross track outside TRF in Brooks, MN. Popular spot that holds races nearly every weekend in the summer. DMC Motosports

Color me crazy, but I'd think the Merrifield Road already is a road with high traffic that would be perfect for an exchange....I dont know....because in the past they determined it would be a perfect place to drive over the interstate instead of 47th! They clearly decided back then it warranted it. But now build a "one sided interchange" on a nonexistent road? Lol
-
An I29 interchange at 47th ave south is coming closer to reality. But that's like a bridge to nowhere. It's so popular theres no road there. Yeah dont put it at the popular spot just a mile south of there at 12th Ave NE (Merrifield Road) that already crosses the interstate.

"Off-road vehicle parade through Grand Forks followed by live music and food trucks at the Grand Cities Mall." Back the Badge Ride

This doesnt need any explanation.

I enjoy community art a lot more than I enjoy "personal art." So I could "make that" but I'd need a team of people and lots of money. I enjoyed watching a Banksy doc and think he does some cool stuff.

Kept waiting for the rocks to be finished at the Alerus... I guess it was. Hows the old saying go...? "If you're explaining, you're losing."
