This doesn't suprise anyone. USD beat the Gophers last year, and they were not and still aren't even eligible for FCS playoffs yet!!. Its like who will beat the Gophers next year?

Speaking of which, I wonder why UND and Souther Illinois haven't scheduled a home and home yet. (sorry slight off topic). I too am very proud of that team. Greatest in all of Sioux football history!!!

Isn't this why a few years ago they "upped" the standards (or at least talked about it) to get into UND so the freshman were more "qualified" and more likely to graduate. What else should UND do to help retain students?

Satellite? UND has a contract with Fox College Sports. You can get it on virtually any cable provider.

You really aren't the brightest bulb are you? You can't grasp the concept that it isn't how "successful" a sport team is. "Success" is relative; it changes. Its not quantitative. Its about attendance (the topic of this thread go figure). UND has the mineral rights because UND has more money. UND and its vastly superior wisdom choose the correct sports for UND to sponsor. It chose a money making sport. NDSU did not they chose wrestling. And with that money you will continue to see UND skyrock. New on campus football stadium, new basketball arena (the betty), new indoor football practice facility, national tv contract. I would ask if you get the picture but something tells me I already know the answer.

This game isn't as important as UND vs Idaho??? vs Fresno St a way better team, Stadium, and attendance (than Idaho) yet no mention of TV?

What really chaps NDSU's fans asses is that they are second class to us (UND fans). We care more about the Gophers (our number one rival in our number one sport) than NDSU. They care more about us than we do them. It chaps their asses everytime! Hence the reason they get an inferior complex.

Again "Why?" That's not what this topic is about (Feel free to start one with the sports and teams of your choice). Its a topic about how UND has great and good attendance for all its sports programs (especially when you consider the size of the town its in) and how all that money is funneled into the University of North Dakota and Grand Forks. Is that okay with you?

The comparison is about how well UND does with the sports it offers vs teams in the same Division (FCS). I mean Yes, we all know UND has hockey. So does Maine and some other FCS. Its not comparing sports to sports at other schools. It just shows how well UND does with the sports it offers. Here is the point: More people go through the gates to watch UND athletics than any other FCS program! Sioux fans shouldn't be proud of that?
