What bothers me is fans that don't even stand for a goal!!! Its like why are you even here.

Which is in large part due to it being the first home game. Can you imagine if Montana was the first home game, or SDSU, or USD. We might actually get 10-11,000 to show up.

First it was money. Now its your feelings of being unappreciated. What makes you think you or UND are so much better than a lot of FCS schools. Montana fans have been getting slapped in the face for years. Including this year when they played DII Western Oregon.

If people can afford it, some fans love Sioux football (and hockey) so much they will go to any of the games no matter the opponent. I still will go watch the hockey team play exhibition games against Regina and the Russian Red Starts even though those games are way more expensive than football games and not to mention you only got so few home football games....not so much with hockey.

I wish there was more FBS schools closer to UND.

Kristo and Nelson in case you forgot this is what Gopher hockey is all about: Dirty Gophers taking exception to a perfect legal hit. They don't learn about those in the State of Hockey hahaha.

No arena in the country will EVER be as Magnificent! It's hard to fathom this guy loved Sioux Hockey basically more than all of us combined!

Aren't you sort of contradicting yourself Bin? You have always stated UND fans show up to the home games no matter "who the opponent is". Well if people and Darrell start saying well look at us now!!!! UND might just see that bigger opponents draw bigger crowds.

It is truly amazing isn't it. People in Grand Forks don't even know that basically this building with their fan support has made UND THE team in College Hockey. Seriously you ask the other top two draws in college hockey: minnesota and wisconsin who they want to beat the most and both say NORTH DAKOTA. That is a fact. Look it up Jeff Sauer.

The game changers could be they never had a conference to go to, the WCHA already being at 12 teams. They have a college arena now waiting for them in Scheels Arena.
