Probably losing to the eventual national champs really isn't a crappy way to end a season if you ask me. The Sioux barely made the tournament and were playing the best team in the country at their place. This was expected.

Hakstol needs to put more emphasis on the Frozen Four and not the Final Five. The Don has two championships. The Sioux are already in "playoff mode," and by the time the "real playoffs" come around....the Sioux ain't got nothing left in the tank.

That "hurt" is qualitative not quantitative. We lost "exposure." I could say NDSU has been "hurt" by not having hockey. ....see you could argue against that, but its pointless....I was "just saying."

Would you rather have an away game at Ball St or a home game against SD Mines? I would probably like to watch them at home and enjoy it in person. Maybe if it was against a Big Ten team but not "Ball St."

Oddly enough, The NCAA just sent UND a letter stating they no longer can wear that (and I quote) "hostile and abusive" piece of clothing to their events. Did the NCAA break the agreement too? Does that mean UND can sue for slander now?

I learned something awhile back...if all you did was attend UND no matter how short that time was, you can call yourself an Alumi.

If Montana (in their own gym) in the championship game with a birth to March Madness. The atmosphere will be crazy. Always is. The game is on ESPN (or 2). At UNC was crazy last year. Can't wait for it to be at the Ralph (or Betty).

I would think having a tv that is four or five times better picture (better resolution) does "improve life".....about as much as watching more channels does.
