First game of the season always draw well. Plus back in the day the casual fan knew Omaha st cloud. Most people at the alerus on Saturday don't know much about montana and their history. I had no ideal Iaa existed back when I was a student. Most fans at the alerus aren't on this site. Probably over half are over forty. Our fanbase isnt getting younger sadly.

My expectations are met. The attendance is what I thought it would be: 9,000 to 10,000. Only one thing will start to increase that slowly and its not marketing but winning and building a tradition over many years. This is year 1 of real FCS competition for this team. If we continue to not make the playoffs attendance won't increase. Ya need to build a tradition or have GF triple in size tomorrow. Student attendance goes down at every college stadium in the country at halftime.

What makes it a disappointing stat? Your expectations? Been better to only build 10,000 stadium? They are averaging the same students and attendance as they have always done since the Alerus opened.

Worry about the product on the field not the product in the stands.

Heard Montana fans say it was a td too. That watched it on tv.

Unfortunately I was right and it didn't take long 17 unanswered points.

Montana felt it to sixty yard play.

Still anyone's game. und needs to score and score often. Play with urgency as if they were losing.

Feel und might go into conservation mode with this lead.

Good thing USD fired their coach and paid big bucks to bring in a proven winner...

Cal poly is too one dimensional. But they did what worked and I guess had good throws when they needed to. Time will tell. But certainly top ten if not five.
