Yes, I love UND athletics. My loyalty will NEVER wain! I am as proud as supporter as you and probably as anyone else (maybe not trying to judge)....but my persona online might be different than my real life persona....I love playing devils advocate.

I originally joined this message Board as "TheSiouxFan," back in 2001, I was the fourth ever member to join this site (excluding the Moderators). But I thought it was self-righteous and the name would be changed eventually so I changed my name....another example of me being a Nostradamus. Check it out for yourself...I basically predicted the collapse of the Fighting Sioux. I wrote this WAY before the NCAA came out with the Hostile and Abusive list.

Why are you calling me out? Did I personally address you? No, not in the slightest. Did I ever once mention the nickname and logo are more important to me than UND? No. Wow. I really touched a nerve with some common sense stuff here. I will always support UND no matter what they are called, but thanks for asking friend. You wanna know about me: I graduated from UND. Became a Sioux fan since '97. Been to the last five four Frozen Fours, etc, etc, etc. And I currently live in a UND sanctioned building. (But it doesn't mean much....its just ones persons opinion....Mine opinion or yours doesn't weigh more than any one elses) I can now see why Star left, the culture here is turning real sour. I didn't say anything "mean, offensive, or wrong" yet. I have been told to Shut the !@#$ Up and to "get the heck off this forum." in the past 24 hours based on one or two very nonchalant posts. Sad. It is really sad to see all the in-fighting.

Well then what are we going to talk about....if we can say well you expected this and already knew about this when the student athlete decides to still go to UND. We won't be able to complain: FYI, as the women sit they won't host a playoff game, regardless. Barely make the tournament as they are sitting 7th in the PairWise.

Dear potential student athletes, If home NCAA playoff game(s) are important to you, don't go to UND. Problem solved.

Star doesn't even live near North Dakota. He lives in the South somewhere, like North Carolina. Probably the only thing Star and Rob have in common is they both wanted to expose "the truth" and expend ever chance to save the nickname. SayAnything primary topics are Republican politics and small government. I think he probably got tired of this site, unfortunately, and is taking a "breather." Like PCM did.

....and I think...and my mom agrees....whatever conference UND is in will always be the best ever. No matter what anyone else says!

"North Dakota" is the Sioux State/flickertail/peace garden state/roughrider state. For me it's simple...keep going down the line....Why wouldn't UND become the Roughriders? UND has already shown a history of picking their nicknames from this list. Who cares if a local high school has the same nickname. There are already teams and high schools that share the name...Ames HS Little Cyclones. And others someone here already posted.

Those are the official school color...they are not the official athletic colors of UND.

The Summit might be improving, but it's basically Great West Conference 2.0 ever school in the conference wants out. Isn't another team leaving? Besides the one that recently dropped down to D3 from the Summit.

Villanova was invited to the Big East. They are "studying" it. Everyone knows Montana is being courted for FBS. Most think its only a matter of time. Montana St probably follows. Apply St just completed a study that says they should move to FBS. James Madison's AD has stated they move to FBS in 18-24 months "very likely." These are the teams currently moving up: UTSA Mass South Alabama Texas State FCS already doesn't look like it did 10 years ago. Let's finally lead and not follow.
