Midco has a contract with UND and built a MidcoSports office next to the Ralph. UND fans in Fargo will get to watch more games. Increased exposure in a market that is an easy drive to UND is a good thing for UND. There was a push to keep UND off the air in Fargo (I believe Cable Ones head honcho is a teammaker) and that now appears to be failing. I'm sure Midco will want to add NDSU to their lineup but UND not only has a large following in Fargo (going to school at UND most students were from Fargo or the cities) but also offers the channel more games thanks to hockey. If I remember correctly UND got a million dollars for their contract compared to about $225,000 for USD and SDSU and that's with Midco being based in the Dakotas largest city. Let's not forget Midco Sports Network basically started because of UND Sports Network (formerly FSSN). And if there's a conflicting schedule Midco will just put one of the games on another channel.

So in other words it's going to be a long season if UND doesn't sweep St Lawrence.

Hyslop...what a distant memory...even though it wasn't that long ago. Thank Gosh for the Betty (Engelstad gift) otherwise we'd be playing there and tryin to raise money to upgrade like the Bizons. Speaking of doesn't even the swim team have a video board?!

Would be nice to be able to read the articles about yesterday's game on the front page of this site. This offseason I was at a table with Troy Huff so I know he reads this website.

I'm sure the big plan ticket package is a reason for that. And with the win yesterday I'm sure a large percent of those fans will probably show up.

It's early but with Montana losing at home to an average San Francisco team and Weber State having not won a game yet. Anyone could win the Big Sky. Could very well be the two bad football teams: UNC vs UND.

Has UND ever beat a ranked team? I know last year was a lil different but Jones teams seem to struggle on the road. Seems to be getting better though.

So is UND underrated or NDSU overrated?
