  1. And even UNDs center stinks.
  2. An UND is driving. Even a field goal would be nice as UND gets the ball after the half.
  3. Well Mollberg is good at throwing bombs! Just bad at short range.
  4. So now what the game plan? Run and clock control? UND already down 3 scores.
  5. UND has no run game. And with Mollberg no pass game. So you gotta put Bartles in.
  6. Bartles Time! Is joe playing blind?
  7. Yay! A first down!
  8. Our punt returners have zero confidence. They have not fielded one yet! Both roll for more yards.
  9. If MSU qb is gonna run we need to strip the ball....or lay him out! UND defense holding strong still.
  10. Thankfully montana state has shot themselves in the foot each time in both of their possessions.
  11. Watching the game.
  12. What I meant was I wanted Mussman fired. (the pay closer attention comment). http://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/15920-fire-muss/?p=641753 http://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/15920-fire-muss/?p=648666 http://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/15920-fire-muss/?p=648674 http://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/15920-fire-muss/?p=650593 I just didn't think he (Mussman) deserved to be fired (or a thread started) after two games into a football season (like you did). Let alone the fact they went 8-3 that year ( i know i know they played black hills, sioux falls etc). I wanted him fired after he went 3-8. See the difference? That's another story all together though. Just like its ridiculous to want Jones fired: 1) after two years in the Big Sky. 2) getting better ever year in the big sky. 3) the program's first berth in the Big Sky Tournament title game after leading the squad to a second-place finish in the league standings. You dont' fire someone on the way up. You fire them on the way down.
  13. Try paying closer attention darell.
  14. You're right the minority got rid of the Fighting Sioux nickname too.
  15. .....
  16. About as bad as a deal as having 3,000 empty seats when the games at 10,000. You're talking about one game with 10,000. If the general public isn't going to show up. I say lets cut their sections. We don't have to worry about it for a long time as this year will probably average hopefully 8,000. People must like there currents seats because anybody can go sit in those empty seats. Or there just isn't anybody that wants too. And as the rest of the Alerus fills up with the general population (if they start winning), the student section will fill up just as much. Why not just get rid of the student seats (and the band) so the Alerus/UND can make more money? I mean they don't even pay. They barely show. They barely cheer. Moving the student sections to the corners will be a great way to make sure less students come to football games. And that should be the goal! It will never even be an issue because if the rest of the stadium were to fill up (like the REA). UND/Alerus would just sell the remaining student tickets not picked up by a certain date to the general public (like REA). (But you wanna decrease the number of students that will be available to watch their own schools football team by cutting their section for the all mighty dollar. Yeah that makes a lot of sense.)
  17. Already thinking about starting up that "fire jones" thread for this year? After finishing second in the conference?
  18. .....dump compared to Cushman.
  19. That's not saying much.
  20. That would make sense if the other parts of the arena are full, but there not. Its not like the student section was is the only empty parts. I look across to the fifty yard line on the other side and lots of open seats. Its a non issue when there is 7,000 people at the games.
  21. I don't know what more UND could do. They won the first game of the year. Tons of students there and tailgating, music blaring. Then two weeks later with still nice weather. A minimal amount if students tailgating. And about half the number that went to the game as the first.

    Greg Hardin??

Hardin and Brock Jensen will be apart of the new FXFL football league.
  23. I think it's safe to assume everyone on the offense in the second half versus Stony Brook wasn't giving a 100% as they only gained 6 yards.
  24. UNDs offense is stuck between a rock and a hard place. I get that. You have an offensive line that isn't very good. Which means UND will have trouble running or passing. UND doesn't have a running back that can consistently get us five yards. UND doesn't have a QB that can consistently hit receivers. So we are left with play calling that will run the clock out limiting the other teams possessions. Hope the running back will eventually break one. And throw in a couple pass plays hoping they will break one.
  25. Yes they did. At least for this game. Funny bubba says he doesn't care about the scoreboard (when he's losing), but the fans can't do the same after a win? UND was one play away from losing against Stony Brook... There is lots to be concerned about. but like many have pointed out we aren't excepted to win this game. So what does UND have to lose?!
