I doubt there was a "time limit" of either it's now or never. I would assume they could still get in line to have some made. No excuse to not have the interlocking logo on North Dakota plates. Another dropped ball by UND people.
So I was at the DMV getting my tags renewed.
They have a poster of "special interest plates" for a large variety of topics including the universities of Valley City, NSSU, Minot, and Dickinson. But no UND? What Gives?
Yeah. Few new gizmos, including a mobile bar I built, but unfortunately I'm in between trucks (driving a car). So the trailer won't make it for the first few games. But we will be there kicking it old school hatchback "tailgating." We'll make sure to stop by.
This isn't a popularity contest.
I had to make it so I come out on top somehow.
Edit: Got a new runner up Sioux-cia with 43%.
(Too much time on my hands?)
Having a little fun based on famous alumni for the most influential universities debate.
I've come up with my own calculation for the most influential poster here.
Profile views divided by total posts (gotta have a minimum 1000 posts).
...and the winner is......
Jim Dahl with a "48% influential rate." (But does he really count )
And the runner up is......Me of course
With appropriate 1,500 views with 4,500 posts for a total of "33% influential rate."
*Disclaimer: this list is no where near accurate as I only compared a few people.
One again we hear how players for the hockey team are not only drinking, but getting in trouble with the law for it.
I think UND is averaging at least two hockey players per year for umpteen years now getting in trouble with the law because of alcohol. (Or when they are not at least rumored to be hurting themselves physically [toes] because of alcohol).
I guess that alcohol awareness (I can't remember the correct term) course Faison described for the team isn't working? What was the reason that the administration made them take these "counseling sessions" in the first place again?
It's like what's left? In ten short years in FCS, it's seems like they have tied or broke lots of records. Most consecutive championships, most consecutive wins in a row, highest win percent vs FBS.
