  1. Red river split with EGF earlier this year with RR beating EGF at EGF 5-0. Anything can happen come tournament time.
  2. Shhhh. No one tell the team mario stole it.
  3. Did you not watch through these doors? Same thing but Mattson was saying it. Much cooler hearing a senior tell the story.
  4. I wouldnt pay much. Dont wanna be surrounded by Bison fans. Better view on the couch. $50. So I could sell them for more.
  5. Saw Wentz working a booth at the home and garden show. Multitalented. I guess hes got a mean paint brush stroke.
  6. The REA aint got no room for basketball locker rooms. Didnt they just spend money expanding for storage.
  7. When's the last time basketball was in the REA? That Bison game UND won?
  8. Playing UND is a bore? But coming to talk with UND fans on a UND site about the game: exciting?
  9. NDSU has already a accomplished everything imaginable at the FCS level...except beat UND.
  10. UND should play the Wild. Now that'd be a hot ticket.
  11. Lol. I do like to say I did take a few bucks away from teammakers that night in Fargo.
  12. You got me there, but they did look like they were having fun.
  13. Im down for every friday or saturday game played at the ralph when the hockey teams are out if town. I think it might bring in a few extra recruits UND might not get otherwise. Im sure a coach would love to say we play a few key games here every year to recruits. Make the team feel a little more like they are apart of something big at UND. It might just get the ball rolling. I have a theory about new facilities and team performances: UND football at the alerus 2001. UMD hockey won a championship when they got a new arena. Something in the psyche. The ice issue might be fixed with the newer cooling system installed in REA. I think when the Ralph actually makes an attempt to advertise the games it would make a big difference. Gotta spend money to make money. With a new coach and being division one now, UND should try and get a few "mid name" programs to come to town. Get Fox Sports to televise it and get 6,000 people to fill the lower bowl maybe include the game in hockey season tickets? Get that "showcase" rolling (and perhaps to imagine UND actually would win that game...our "super bowl"?). Start with UNI next year. The Ralph paid a couple big name tennis players to come to town. They have the money. I think it might be one of the easiest ways to grow the fan base.
  14. Better team vs better atmosphere?
  15. Having the men play a few games in the Ralph helps "showcase" the team which could in return increase attendance in the Betty.
  16. Kids are doomed because of what older people taught them?
  17. It was GF vs a western team in the championship. Perhaps Dave meant to say the West will catch and surpass the Fargo schools. Dave said "inevitable". So im sure he'll gloat one day...wont the Fargo schools have 4 hockey playing teams soon with the same amount of students as RR/Central.
  18. So the AD agrees with a lot of the fans. Doing just enough to keep his job like Hakstol?
  19. How does UNI afford to pay Ben Jacobson a half mill a year? Does the MVC and Tv payout that much?
  20. Considering the west had one championship. It had to "narrow" sometime. Gap couldnt have gotten any bigger .
  21. One of the last four. The same as 91-94. We could do this all day long.
  22. UND officials watch this board.
  23. ↑ You gotta give Bison fans credit. Thats pretty smart stuff.
  24. It doesn't take a genius to realize that GF wouldn't win one every single year like they did from 1959-1977 (I'm guessing very few ND schools played hockey then). Four of the last seven is pretty impressive for GF though still. It's the exact same rate (four gf titles in seven years) that happened back in 1978 (the year GF was finally dethroned) til 1984. Things go in cycles. That's not an impressive prediction. I could say: "in Fact the GF schools are winning state hockey championships as frequently as they did in the past (once there was actual competition)."
