Haks legacy is he was a good coach. His teams often "overachieved," had good "second half runs," good in NCAA regionals, but always laid eggs in the semifinals.

1-7 against the best teams remaining in college hockey. That's not a very good "best of series" against college hockeys top teams.

I'd be very surprised if Game day went to a FCS school 3 years in a row. Not much left to talk about. I don't see it happening. No "NDSU just beat a FBS team again" talk this year. But itd would be cool if it did.

Its not like KG isnt getting paid. By the size of the new house he build a few years ago it appears he gets paid just fine.

Question for people more in the know...Why Brad over Dane as head coach? Is Dane like this is what I get for staying on the UND staff as an assistant while Brad just left and came back? Is Brad that much of a better assistant coach or is it mainly because he has "NHL coaching experience"?

Add 3 MN HS head coaching championships. Eades has been a part of 8 championship teams at the HS level and above.

Was Eades coach and GM like he will be in Fargo? The Force seem to know that having former UND coaches help sell tickets there.

Never said anything about Eades being head coach at UND. Youre good at reading into things. Just showing how much the guy seems to know how to win. He has been on a lot of winning teams. Never mentioned Hakstol, but since you did. He has zero championships evah. 5>0.

How many natty's he got under his belt now....5? Two as a player and one as a head coach and one as an assistant coach at UND and Head coach of the Fighting Saints of the USHL? When Eades went to Sioux Falls they were last of all of USHL.

No word on a new assistant coach? Is it posted at UND yet? Same open record laws to see who has applied?
