Good thing they are cutting sports. I saw on Through These Doors, UND bussed to Omaha, left early and stayed the night in Sioux Falls. Thought that was interesting.

Reno Events Center holds 7,000 opened in 2005.

Besides the possible lack of fans, I think a neutral floor gives the best team the chance to make the tournament and pull off a win in the March Madness.

The three years before the Lamoureux twins arrived on campus Idalski and UND were 25-67 combined.. .the three years the Lammy twins were at UND 68-37. The transformation from 8-22 to 20-13 in the first year of the Lamoureux twins is nothing short of amazing! The last three seasons since the twins left the rankings of UND womens hockey has started to trend downwards...still "respectable" but nothing to write home about.

Trending downwards the last 3-4 seasons.

I like the first couple matchups if UND were to win the first.

How bad is the Big Ten Hockey Conference when the most likely regular season champion, Minnesota, won't make the tournament unless they win its autobid. That's Atlantic Hockey type stuff.
