Every year North Dakota, for all intensive purposes, will be one of the top teams of college hockey without trying...rebuilding at North Dakota equates to something like missing the Frozen Four by one game. No one knows the future. Wouldn't be surprised if UND struggled in a few games next year. They appear to be even younger than this year. But with Cam in net anything is possible.

Because it's unofficially official. Presidents aren't voting til next month but straw polls have them in.

I like that the NCHC is living up to its name with ASU addition.

It's not uncommon for FCS schools to play two money FBS games a season.

Sorta goes along with my "I'll take a .500 season if it meant winning a natty" statement.

One could argue if your an average college hockey player you'll probably develop best playing in your current league before trying to jump to a level that might currently be above your skill level.

Idaho will probably play all those games and get twice the price an average team FCS team would. That's what I see happening.

How many freshman are expected to come in now for next year? UND pushing to be the youngest in college hockey?

I tried mentioning that about midseasonthis year here and got met with "this team had a lot of talent and was expected to be pretty dang hood."
