Would it be ok if NDSU started to ban the media and sold the exclusive rights for the academic side?

The press release also stated one on one interviews with the Governor will only be granted to the one media member...all other will continue to be denied...want to interview the governor you will need to be the highest bidder for the contract in three years when it's available.

North Dakota Governor just issued a press release: All future Legislative sessions and press conferences will only be made available to the highest bidding member of the media, claiming a need to control the message and bring more money into the state.

Minnesota might be "good" but no where near "North Dakota Good."

Pointing out a team UND plays this year in football has a backwards logo on its helmet on a UND fan discussion board is, how do you say....

Apparently someone didn't tell BG their Falcon would be "backwards" on the helmet.

I saw the puck on its side at least twice....so the ice is horrible!!!! Also heard the ice was terrible in Tampa until the natty was presented....that's why LJ got hurt.

Yup...just like the Minnesota Vikings logo....already would be better to have another logo that could be "inverted". The new hawks logos can't be "inverted" just like the old interlocking ND logo couldn't be inverted....didn't stop UND....so because there's a hawk in the logo it changes perception?

Don't get the "backward facing" argument....wouldn't every sports logo on a helmet be backward facing, sans, symmetrical ones..... ...and if it's a detration, more reason to redesign the logo for the football helmets.

Had the same thought. Still unfortunate UND (not university of Notre Dame) had to lose a long standing identity just because it adapted a new nickname.

Even if it was almost a straight copy, I always thought those would have been awesome as Sioux football helmets....fortunately with it still might one day be a reality.

Of course their mad....UND single handedly destroyed any new conference/BIG will rule the world bump they would have had. Now their conference has to fight an uphill battle....against one, if not the best, conference in the country (that didn't exist before)...that includes their main hockey rival that just won a championship with a first year coach. It's not easy being a Gopher fan when they compare themselves to the most watched team in the nation.
