  1. It's going to be an interesting night...got my twitter, tv, and popcorn ready.
  2. Poor taste sure. Just like all the skin color based jokes I've heard from all different skin colors tell me over the years on this planet. In 2016 you send those "poor taste jokes" via phone to your friends (snap chat, face book messenger, or old standard "text".) Nothings changed except people now can capture and send those jokes to whomever they want. And no more "context" or "inside jokes." ....a Jew, a Mexican, and a white guy walk into a bar Not just expelled, they want UND shut down. Notre Dame sure is getting some bad press.
  3. "She" is a girl from Colorado likely never stepped foot in North Dakota ("I'm no longer a student because of my own battles." -- convenient) just like most people in the comments, including those calling for UND to be shut down. Her first statement was that picture and the quote "is this the picture in question?" (Answer is no it's not.) These people are professional trolls on the internet stirring up division and racism. Background context: Theres a lot of women posting\sending pictures with black faces...not as some racial discrimination message, but they are sending these funny pictures to their friends while they wait til these cosmetic masks say they can come off (their black friend takes the picture and writes BLM on them). College girls goofing off on Friday night with their cell phones and makeup does not make them "racist."
  4. Yes, that's what I was trying to point out. Lots of people just randomly scroll the comments looking for the picture and the first one they'll see is the one you mentioned and think it's from UND....and then it spreads. https://m.facebook.com/tonyaaronii/posts/10153870309666288
  5. Posted to the "internet" via application only available for phones. That can only be seen by people you accept to view said images. And said images disappear after 24 hours..... And not posted to the original technical definition of "internet."...but instead was posted to a "private network."
  6. Just to clarify the girls at UND who took the picture didn't post it to the internet.
  7. Calling an unpleasant person a bitch ----> "Say your sorry." Calling a black person black ----> "Racist." Put them together ----> "Expulsion!"
  8. Also make sure you see the right photo in question...there's more than one in the comments (which isn't from UND)....the statement from the university was about the photo locking the door on an unpleasant dark skin women.
  9. If that's not irony, I don't know what is.
  10. The mall terrorist had a gun, but saw a sign stating the mall was a gun free zone so he left the gun in the car and headed to Bed,Bath, and Beyond to pick up a knife.
  11. Because one doesn't want to sit throw a entire football game, one won't be able to handle a "real crisis." I think your priorities are backwards there grandpa. Seems someone's McDonalds order were screwed up one too many times by some young tattooed, pierced, rock music loving "kid."
  12. I'd have more posts but I'm watching the Vikings. Ten minutes left up 3.
  13. I've seen grown adults push each to get those consumer electronics discounts on a Friday. Revealed their true colors. Welcome to Earth.
  14. Fans. Not players. Who is one to criticize ones life choices whether they want to go to a football game or go to work, or hunt, or fish, or a family reunion, or leave early in a blowout game, because they aren't die-hard fans who live on message boards criticizing every move by fans, players, and administrators. Who might not grow up to waste a full Sunday glued to a Television set in the fall, but instead go camping and teach that "future generation" the names of birds instead of the names of the new starting Vikings QBs.
  15. "Kids these days." _____but never "your kid" right? Cause if you were a student and your buds asked you if you wanted to go have a beer and watch the rest of the game at Playmakers Tavern, you'd for sure stay by yourself. Maybe these "younger generations" realize how unimportant sports really are in the bigger picture, and there's more productive things to do. Maybe the student football section is the exact same given the circumstances of the past 20 years.
  16. Been spending my lazy Sunday watching the media get in a frenzy about a presidential candidate calling a bomb a bomb, than actually covering the bombing.
  17. "St. Cloud" trending on Twitter. Early reports of multiple stabbings at the mall, suspect is dead.
  18. Not sure how the final score could have been overturned as the players quit pushing when they stopped the play because they signaled touchdown when studs was never down....otherwise forward momentum would not have stopped.
  19. Here's what I gather from trying to watch unwatchable neversport big sky tv. Eastern Washington vs northern iowa. Ewu with 50 seconds left down two....fakes the field goal and gets the TD! And it was only a 40 yard field goal!!
  20. I missed the complain train...... So.... Crowd was announced the largest since 2009? Cool to see...I looked at the home side after the first quarter and saw very few empty seats and said "almost looks like a sellout". Crowd noise wasn't any different than the last few years/games to me obviously given the situations and scores of games... Tailgating was awesome and large as is always the first game of the season, which will get smaller as the year goes on and people will come here and act surprised. Students section was full and started to dwindle after the half, which will get smaller as the year goes on and people will come here and act surprised.
  21. As said last week the slow starts to the games are becoming a pattern....and the pattern continued today. USD got comfortable with that large lead, and I leaned over in the third and half jokingly said we "got them right where we want them."......and I might have also said "Lets make them trash the locker room again." at that time.
  22. I forgot the math and I'm too lazy to do it again, but given the size of the Fargodome relative to the size of Fargo when the dome was built....the Fargodome today would have to be built for 35,000ish. ....there's no doubt a new stadium is needed in Fargo, if not today, tomorrow....and they could be making a big mistake the longer they wait. Keep growing and winning games...all a program can do. If an FBS invite comes down the road; great, evaluate.
