  1. Foles with at least one int. tonight.
  2. "The large number of Somalians in Minneapolis make the city potentially unsafe."
  3. http://www.grandforksherald.com/business/tourism/4398247-land-cold-and-nice-super-bowl-visitors-impressions-minnesota-follow People in Minneapolis are nice, but the town is too cold and very little to do.
  4. Have you seen the Curb your Enthusiasm Seinfeld reunion episode? Highly recommended.
  5. Whiny is when you feel the need to go write about it in the newspaper to get sympathy from everyone. The emotional statue of limitations has expired.
  6. Almost two weeks later, and I still have to read about how whiny Vikings fans were treated in the Herald.
  7. Red, White, and Blue. With the name Patriots. Americas Real Team. Everyone loves a winner.
  8. Got one you'll love Moser.... http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/4396723-burgums-schedule-shows-41-visits-fargo-6-grand-forks
  9. There was nothing in language of the vote that says the new water and road tax will be added to the existing percentage of the city budget that was already used for roads/water. While using the money for "library money" was being a little facetious, it certainly doesn't stop the city from helping it fund some of its other pet projects that will inevitable arrive. We'll see if the city spends "tens of thousands of dollars" on the new art project requests... Just wait five years when the "noise" of the new vote dies down.
  10. The med school is the largest public project in North Dakota history. $124 million.
  11. Definitely not to say Chaves won't be a good AD. As we know, Some AD's and Presidents don't get along. I think he'll do good things at UND. From the list of candidates, he was my top choice.
  12. One would guess, new sales tax passed for roads, would be added to already existing road budget But now they can move money around and have library money Grand Forks really voted for a library upgrades
  13. "We have an escapee from Cell Block 6. Code Blue!!"
  14. A very uninviting entrance to a building that looks like a glorified "facilities management" building.
  15. Kennedy fired an AD and hired another one that was being fired.
  16. ...and then a nice big increase in valuations!
  17. North Dakota has basically twice the "proven oil reserves" than Alaska. In 2016 (not sure if 2017 numbers are out yet), North Dakota produced 2.11 times the amount of oil Alaska did. Since the new Ralph opened, the people of Alaska have been given over $20,000. Is the oil tax in North Dakota too low?
  18. Thanks. Right next to the trailer park my gramps started. I'll check it out next time, I'm in town riding quads at the "the desert."
  19. Was informed James Massen had started a bar in his hometown of Bismarck. Anyone here know the name?
  20. Add another $212,500 to that total.
  21. The difference was the third string goalie/walkon was starting over a drafted goalie last year. ....and there was cries of "What is going on with Tomek?" And apparently something was as his time with UND was short lived.
  22. I don't see UND passing the team currently with the best conference winning percentage (SCSU).
  23. IIRC, some UND president position interviews were in Minneapolis.
  24. http://www.grandforksherald.com/business/tourism/4390591-year-end-boardings-down-gfk Beer and Bacon festival is a hit in town (Last Saturday). Everyone I talked to had a good time at it. I also found out Canadians love it. Lots of them come down for it.
