Their using the data collected from the IAC meetings. Which stated women's hockey was safe.

Looks like UND is going to cut $1.3 mill from the athletic budget and by the looks of it probably by cutting a sport or two. We know women's hockey is safe. My bet would be at least swimming and diving.

What financial incentives do the NCHC give? There's no revenue sharing.

UND will be fine either way. If the "financial sense" works (which I believe no doubt it will...maybe the Big will make UND pay two mill a year to be in the conference ) UND will not to turning down a Big Ten Hockey Conference Invite.

Financial sense...one exit fee. The rest would be essentially the same. Keep their own tv contract minus any national games (cbs vs big ten). Midco contract would probably be more valuable and possible have to compete with Fox Sports. Don't accept and they risk losing money thanks to the Big poaching another NCHC team and making the conference weaker. The ball starts rolling.

"We" also don't even need hockey.

Just the thought of the NCHC adding Mankato State makes me want to join the BTHC as soon as possible.

Most people at the Ralph aren't hardcore SiouxSports always watch away game type fans...you ask them if they'd rather play Western Michigan or Michigan State. They'd pick Michigan State.

If UND is offered the Big Ten, no way they'll turn it down. Nothing to debate.

I expect the Fargo company was like hey we have everything covered in Fargo that we can with our 4 different magazines. Where can we make money now.

Hall of Fame game is exempt from the NCAA amount of games...meaning it's one extra game for the teams in it. But the ralph could have had it at the Ralph and have in the past.

I could go for an outdoor hockey game in this weather.
