By looking at his Twitter profile (UND shirt, Location: Grand Forks, Profile link to UNDsports.com) you sure wouldn't think he was the associate head coach at OSU.

Just booked a GF hotel online, so decided to check the room availability for Friday, Sept 7 - Sunday, Sept 9 (Metallica concert is Saturday, Sept 8.) On Booking.com (one of the main sites directed from Google Hotel searches) there is only 7 hotels listed with rooms available...and of those seven hotels they say they only have about 5-6 room left on average per hotel.

I would assume some sort of "safety" feature, but the original article from the GF Herald, didn't mention one thing about safety. Just how other towns were doing it, and it made the downtown more vibrant. Unless "more walkable" meant safety...They are literally spending $6.5 million for a better downtown walking experience.

Yeah, that's how it works. Percentages change as games are played...in less than two weeks we won't need any "probabilities." BC has a 22% chance to win their tournament (and get the auto qualifier) as they won their conference. If they don't get it obviously their chances decrease to make the tournament. The long and short of it is....there are really only two spots up for grabs to make the tournament (outside of the 16th place for AHA) and UND is in a tight battle with many others for those two spots. Knocking UNO out with a sweep, and BC losing in the HE tournament, will go a long way to help UND. Northern Michigan/Bowling Green finished second and third place in the WCHA regular season. Together they have a decent shot at getting the automatic bid (There's a 37% chance Mankato gets upset and the WCHA has two team in the tournament)..... and then only one open spot remains for UND to battle for (given UND doesn't win the NCHC tournament).

Over at CHN, BC has a greater chance to make the tournament than UND. Omaha also has a greater chance right now at an at large bid than UND does (and why many here are saying a sweep this weekend is essential). UND only has a 26% chance of making the tournament.

Speaking of downtowns, You sure do have to look hard to find Bismarck's....usually stumbling upon it by accident.

and a city that's easy to drive around in. First thing anyone notices in Grand Forks right now is all the potholes they have to avoid trying to get downtown.

So once again, if the goal of the season is to make the NCAA tournament, it's another year when Brian Jones gets closer to that goal than Travis Brewster.
