Sunggerud has a broken wrist/hand, which has hindered him a whole lot. Not sure about the other one.

I know you aren't a lot older than me. We played Grace City and Kensal regularly, but that was about as far west as we went. Only "big" guy I really remember around my age was Lon Waggoner.
-
I don't remember Carrington much for basketball. Region 4? We didn't regularly play them or New Rockford.
-
Wasn't a bad pick at all. These TV guys not knowing anything about Roseau made Lakeville North an "overwhelming favorite". Heard several inferences the last couple days about the lack of toughness in Roseau's schedule. I don't think anyone would argue that overall it was a down year in section 8, but weak schedule? That's absurd. Wish they would have won today.
-
Roseau has nothing to hang their head's about there. Great game!

A bit surprised to see this, as I know the NDHSAA has thrown Fargo a bone and awarded them a state hockey tourney in the future, and giving the B to Fargo has always been a rumored consolation prize to not taking the hockey tourney from GF.
-
Wow. Gary Thorne and Lou Nanne. That's golden.
-
The 3 brothers are all committed to St. Cloud State.
-
18 21 has committed to Bemidji State.
-
And the motels. Two of the largest WDA schools are right in town, eating at home, sleeping at home. People come to the B from all corners of the state. They spend money. Jack's logic is flawed.
-
Jack Michaels from www.740thefan.com says Bismarck doesn't care if they get the State B back, as the WDA is a bigger deal for them. Says as long as State B and WDA are same weekend, this will be the case. I don't believe his take.

Doug Woog said a couple years back that coaches are already looking at 9 year olds. Now, he could have been thinking 9th grade, but that wasn't what he said.

Question: Are the Penguins playing the Florida Panthers in this scenario?

Locker rooms were completely renovated I know.

In your defense, you aren't claiming to be a "Gopher hockey fan", either.

I wonder if it turned out to not be the gem it was perceived to be (the coaching job)?? Thought the family went back to L-DC pretty quickly, but heard something about he went to the oil fields for a bit after leaving Warroad. No idea beyond that.
