That would only confuse the referees and off court officials.
-
Sure you do. Played for Kansas, right?
-
I doubt boy wonder knows who that is. Mike Boschee would be a great hire for this program.
-
But would that not be "I don't give A F***?" Because when I say that, I'm not saying "F".
-
So would he be a better coach if he was paid more? The assistants as well?
-
Apparently I didn't make the exclusive PM list. ? Roads to the MSP must be clear if we can get updates on football recruiting.

It's not like the topic title isn't very descriptive or anything. I guess I just use the "new posts since your last visit" or whatever it is and don't pay much attention to what section a thread is in.

Great. 6 consecutive posts from bison "fans". It's like they are so giddy that they have nowhere to go to discuss the big win yesterday.

I learned watching the Sioux in the late 80's and early to mid 90's that each game consists of runs and gaps. You maximize the runs, and minimize the gaps and you'll be successful. Those teams were fun to watch. Each week Coach Glas would expand from that on his Sunday night show.

I think he goes our there again tonight, too.

That seems just so wrong. I understand that boundaries have to be somewhere, but that school has been bounced around like a pinball by the MSHSL. Used to think it was because of the brash coach they had (Sarsland) that rubbed some the wrong way. Moorhead had some pretty good battles with the Elks for trips to the state tourney way back when.

So, are you saying that roughnecks don't really have the same pull with the %GOBC that they used to. Funny, I never would have thought you would have to be an actual "player" to be in a "players club" such as the %GOBC. If they (the %GOBC) actually do "run GF and UND", they most certainly would care about "baskstball", because like it or not, basketball has the POTENTIAL for more mainstream national pub than hockey could give the school. Is it not about publicity and money and power? Or are you saying that this "club" you may or may not be in is full of people that aren't really that smart? Inferences could be made considering the supposed membership roster and who they've allowed to partake. And I'll ask this again... what business do you "run" in GF? I want to know so that I can make calculated and informed spending choices when I come to the big city.

Huh? You must mean the Traditional Circle of Sticks.

There's another guy with an ax to grind. Would also be interesting. Coaches are coaches. Would think being a university president would be pretty stifling for a coach. Especially one with an ego like these "elite" coaches seem to have.

Craig Bohl to Colorado State?
-
Well, Jerry's not exactly the first coach that comes to mind when you think of coaches that stay in one place for a significant amount of time. And the atmosphere in the state of Nebraska on game day takes a back seat to nearly no other program in the country. The experience would far exceed anything Minnesota could ever dream of. That said, Bielema to me is the favorite, maybe due to familiarity more than anything.
-
http://footballscoop.com/news/sources-nebraska-seems-locked/ Can you say "deflection"? As Lee Corso would say, "Not so fast, my friend." I'm thinking Bielema is named at NU before the weekend. That may be the only thing that keeps the Kill group in Minnesota.
-
Mauer doesn't get that contract if he is "Joe from Jacksonville". Not with the career numbers he's put up. It's about more than baseball, and you can't quantify that. I still think it is pretty outlandish to spend 1/4 to 1/5 of your entire payroll on one person.

I bet he drives a Bentley.

This should go real well. Great investment. Quote Quote

What is? Fans that never go to games that call for coach's jobs? What business do you own? Simple question.

Then go cheer for a powerhouse like SDSU, or right out your back door, NDSU. If it is affecting you this severely, might be time to make some changes.
